I am a responsible, dependable animal lover who has cared for dogs, cats, birds, fish, and rabbits in the past. I can provide any support needed, including walking and hiking, feeding, play time, grooming, bathroom clean-up, and providing medication, if needed. I have worked as a dog walker and sitter for a company in Marin County, volunteered for two years at Wildcare, and currently volunteer and foster with NorSled Husky Rescue.

As a previous dog, cat, and small animal owner, I am comfortable caring for your animal using whatever instructions you provide. Setting up a time to meet beforehand to go over the details and so that you and your pet can get to know me is important, too.

Heather was fantastic with our elderly dog, Roger. She took great care of him for several days at our house, and we arrived back to a happy dog and a tidy house. She was very responsive and sent updates and pics every day. We're looking forward to having her take care of Roger again!
Heather has been dog walking and dog sitting for me for many years. She is a true animal lover. The dogs are always so excited to see her as soon as she walks up to the house. When she lost her own dog to cancer she gifted is most cherished dog toys to my two dogs. She is also amazing with cats, she has taken care of our sweet kitty when we have gone out of town. All our animals love Heather! Even the chickens follow her around the yard because they know she will toss them some meal worms and blueberries.
Heather is a caring, devoted caregiver and loves every dog she encounters. I would trust her with my two darlings any day of the week. I highly recommend Heather to care for your pet babies. Know that leaving your darlings in her hands will allow you to take whatever time away with the knowledge your pets are cared for with love and affection.
Heather is reliable, honest, mature, and most of all, an incredibly caring pet caregiver. She understands dogs and is skilled at keeping them in control, if needed. My dog can be a handful and Heather is good at gently keeping in in line. Heather has stayed with my dog for overnights as well as week-long stays. My dog adores her and minds her a lot better than she minds me. She has also done dog-walking duty when I needed it and has brought my doggie back happy and relaxed. I definitely recommend Heather to anyone looking for a responsible, animal-loving pet sitter or walker.

Schedule
I'm a part-time adjunct professor at SJSU in Environmental Studies and am only on campus on Tuesdays. My schedule is flexible the rest of the week.
