I am committed to ensuring the health and happiness of your pet(s) and will be asking questions in order to understand their personality, temperament, interests/preferences, daily routine, behavior towards other animals/people and any anxieties they may experience. Additionally, will ask questions about medical history--such as dietary restrictions, allergies, medications, recent illnesses, current vaccinations (if puppy is older than 4 months), and whether they are spayed/neutered, etc. Please contact me for a complimentary meet and greet!
A typical day
We are so fortunate to be located in such a fantastic area with so many beautiful neighborhoods and dog-friendly places. Enjoy walking, especially with dogs. In addition to playing fetch and other games, will take your dog on walks at the park, in your neighborhood and other excursions exploring dog parks and local trails with your approval. If your dog or cat is a “home body” and would prefer exploring the great indoors, we will enjoy playing, snuggling on the couch, watching a good movie or listening to music. In my care, your pet will receive loving companionship, belly rubs and some good ole' scratchies. Also a big fan of mentally stimulating activities for both dogs and cats.

Over 30 years’ experience with dogs and cats of various breeds, personalities, sizes, and volunteer at Petco through San Diego Cat Adoption Service (“CATS”), a non-profit, no-kill animal rescue. Prior volunteer at the Oakland Zoo for two summers assisting in the feeding and care of primates, exotic birds and small cats. Friendly, energetic, reliable, trustworthy animal lover. Enjoy being outdoors, hiking coastal trails and exploring nearby parks. Will shower your pet with positive attention, good exercise and companionship. He or she will be safe, comfortable and “tail waggingly” happy in my hands. At times, providing your pet with a healthy/active lifestyle while juggling work and/or other personal responsibilities can be a little “ruff.” Take comfort in knowing that your pet is being given the attention and care he or she needs when you are unable to be in two places at the same time. My dog walking services are one-to-one walks, with the exception of multiple pups from the same family who are accustomed to walking together. Your pet always has my full attention--in your home, during walks, and while taking part in social activities with other dogs, such as approved field trips or visits to your local dog park. Interested in walks or visits for your pet 3 or more times per week on an ongoing basis? Looking for shorter visits/walks/potty breaks? Feel that 30 minutes is just not enough time? Please contact me. I offer reduced rates for ongoing clients and extended or shorter walks/visits. Additionally, if you are not able to locate the type of service you need, I would enjoy discussing and customizing a personalized plan for you and your pet. 🐾🐶😻🐾

Heather was wonderful with our dog, who is rambunctious and can be slow to warm up. She took the time to meet her at a meet and greet and showed our dog a lot of patience and understanding. When dog sitting in our home, Heather was very communicative and shared many photos. It was clear that our dog was being well cared for. Heather left our home clean and our dog happy.
