Most of my availability is limited to weekends, evenings and holidays since I work full-time on a hybrid schedule in the pharmaceutical industry. I know firsthand how hard it can be to try to balance your life when you have fur babies. So I may be able to accommodate one-time and short-term bookings that include house sitting/boarding/mornings/afternoons/weekdays that are outside of my normal schedule, and I am open to decreasing/freezing my fees for repeat clients.

Information Heather F. would like to know about your pet
Since I interact with multiple clients and I have a dog of my own, I need to confirm that your pet is on flea/tick prevention with vet records and/or receipts for all dogs and cats that are allowed outdoors. I definitely like to be with a pet initially with their owner, multiple times if possible. So I offer free consultations to try and ensure your pet is comfortable with me before I spend time alone with them. I appreciate learning what their favorite toys are, any commands/tricks that work if they get free, as well as anything that may trigger them to get upset.
A typical day
Dogs are the perfect walking buddies! I like to observe how they interact with their surroundings (new & old), other pets, squirrels, birds, etc. No walk is ever the same. I love finding out what their favorite toys and activities are, and making sure we play until they or I are too tired. Cats are some of the best entertainers ever! I love observing their movements, mischief & watching them sleep. I make it my mission to figure out what relaxes them & how they like to play. I have never met a cat that doesn’t like boxes. Still trying to figure out if there are any exceptions.

Heather did an incredible job taking care of our cats. She was responsible and communicative. Our travel coincided with the recent blizzard; she adjusted her plans to visit before the storm hit and offered to visit again if we could not make it back in time. Needless to say, we were very happy with the care she provided.
Heather was amazing with our two cats! We had very specific instructions since our cats were separated while we were away, and she did a wonderful job making sure they were fed, safe, and doing okay. She was very thorough and extremely helpful, responsive, and all around a great cat sitter! We would love to have her cat sit anytime we are away in the future. Thanks Heather!
