As a lifelong dog lover, I know just how special the bond between a person and their dog can be. About a year ago, I unexpectedly lost my own boy to a sudden heart condition. It broke my heart, and for a while, I couldn’t imagine opening my home to another dog of my own. I do, however, miss having dogs in my life—their personalities, their companionship, and all the joy they bring. That’s what led me to Rover! I’d love the opportunity to give your pup some extra love, attention, exercise, and companionship while you’re away. Your dog will be treated like family, with plenty of patience, affection, and care. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pup with someone else, and I’d be honored to be that person for you. 🐾❤️

I have a large two story home with plenty of space for roaming and playing, as well as a fenced in back yard. We do not have any pets at the moment so it’s very easy to accommodate yours.

I’ve known her for 15 years, so I’ve had the chance to see the kind of person she is in just about every situation. We’ve lived together, she’s lived with my dogs, and she’s been someone I’ve trusted to take care of them when I wasn’t home. My dogs mean everything to me, so I don’t trust just anyone with them. With her, I’ve never had to think twice. She is genuinely one of those people who loves animals with her whole heart. Her German Shepherd was her absolute world, and anyone who knew the two of them could see how much she loved and cared for him. She was attentive to everything he needed and treated him like family, and she has always shown that same love and care toward my dogs. What means the most to me is knowing that if my dogs are with her, I don’t have to worry. I know they’re safe, loved, paid attention to, and being cared for by someone who truly understands how important they are to me. She’s loving, caring, incredibly attentive and responsive, and most importantly, she’s someone I trust completely. After 15 years of friendship and seeing firsthand the way she cares for animals, I can’t think of many people I would trust more with mine.
Heather is an amazing caregiver. She has always been super reliable, loving, and patient with my dogs. They get super excited to see her because they know they’re going to get a good walk with her!!
I highly recommend Heather as a dog walker! She is always punctual, reliable, and takes such great care of my dog. My dog absolutely loves her and gets so excited to see her! She is attentive, caring, and always makes sure to spend time playing and interacting with my dog rather than just taking her for a quick walk. It gives me so much peace of mind knowing my dog is in such good hands. I couldn’t ask for a better dog walker!
Heather is fantastic with animals. She is wonderful every time she is with my Great Dane. I was starting to think he preferred her over me. I never have to worry about him when he is with her. She’d be the first person I’d reach out to if I needed someone to watch him.
Heather is the perfect person to take care of any pet. She is extremely reliable and has a safe space to tend to any animal at her house. My frenchie loves visiting Heather as she gives her so much love and attention when they’re together. I would especially recommend Heather for walks / runs as she is super active. Whether your dog needs a long walk to get their energy out or just a quick break, she will for certain keep you and your furry friends happy and well cared for!
Heather and I grew up together and have always been extremely close. She is always on stand by when I need help with my dogs and always sure to prioritize her own babies by giving them the best care needed. She is a very active girl loves to walk and run and would really enjoy spending these walks with a furry friend by her side.

Schedule
I’m a bartender with a schedule that gives me plenty of flexibility during the weekdays. My days off are often spent getting outside for walks, runs, and enjoying some fresh air, so having a pup to join me would be the perfect addition to my routine! Because I work at a seasonal location, my availability will become even more flexible as the season winds down. I’m looking forward to using that extra time to spend with dogs, whether that means a long walk, some playtime, or simply giving your pup some company and attention while you’re away. I’m active, dependable, and genuinely love being around dogs, so I’d be happy to make your pup part of my everyday routine! 🐾
