Cats | Dogs | Hamsters My name is Heather, and I have been looking after animals for as long as I can remember. I earned my bachelors degree in HR Management in December and am looking to create some savings and fill my time while I search for a salary job in my field. In my free time, I like to go on walks, cook, travel, and watch reality TV with my cat. In the past, I have lived with and cared for cats, dogs (small and large breeds), and hamsters. I also worked in a Veterinary Hospital for a year and a half. Whether your pet is 19 grams or 100 pounds, I cannot wait to meet them!! My schedule is very flexible. Reach out with what you need help with and your time-frame, and we can make arrangements. I can housesit, babysit, plantsit and/or petsit. I have some experience medicating and bathing animals. I also have experience medicating hamsters and rats. I will not give your pet anything without your permission, and I will work very hard to make sure both you and your pet have a positive experience.

I am a big fan of boundaries and routine. If I am unsure of anything, I will ask you for clarification. I will love your pets as if they were my own, but I do not overstep or make changes to their routine unless you say it is permitted. I have lived in many areas, both with and without roommates-- I will make sure your house, pets, plants, etc are safe and secure before I leave for the day.

Heather is very kind and communicative! Mango warmed up to her immediately which isn’t always the case since he’s shy with strangers.
I could tell right away that Heather is great with dogs and Rudy loved her! I would certainly recommend her to anyone looking for a dog walker/sitter and will definitely use her again.
Heather was so amazing taking care of our two cats while we were away. Our cats took to her right away and that says alot!!! I felt super comfortable right after our meet and greet and she did not disappoint!! The pics she sent me on every visit made me so happy and so comfortable knowing they were being so well cared for. I am so glad I found Heather and will most definitely be using her again.
Heather is amazing! She was so amazing with my dog Zoey. Zoey is a hard pup to watch… very territorial. Heather was patient and very willing to try to work with Zoey to make her less nervous. I feel so lucky to have found Heather!
Heather is an amazing kind hearted soul. She loves animals and I think the fact she's a vegan and former Vet Receptionist really serves to prove that. She takes amazing care of my elderly dog, Jake, and he absolutely loves when she comes. She even one time brought him homemade dog treat cookies she made from scratch.

Schedule
I am a recent graduate, searching for a salary job right now, so I am pretty flexible. I have a few trips planned this spring and summer, primarily on the weekends, but I am very organized and update my planner and availability often. I know weeks or months in advance if I will be unavailable.
