Safety, trust & environment
Your pets’ safety and security is my top priority. I make a habit of checking gate latches prior to releasing your pet into their fenced yard. Likewise, if we are going for a walk or potty break in an unfenced area I always ensure that harnesses and collars are properly fitted and secured prior to exiting your home.

Information Heather D. would like to know about your pet
I always like to know what their level of socialization is as well as if they have separation anxiety. It is also important to know if they have any aggression triggers or allergies. I like to know what their favorite toys are and what your treat policy is. House rules are important to maintain. Any activities and locations that are off limits are helpful as well. I will also need to know what kind of medications (if any) are required on a daily basis as well as their dosing schedule.
A typical day
On a typical day we will play, have some snuggle and scratches time as well as a walk or two (per your discretion). We will typically walk around your neighborhood, or a local park.

Experienced Pet Owner Loves Dogs
Pet care experience
I am an experienced pet owner who loves dogs. Tea cup to giant I love them all. Not only that, but I have experience handling dogs of all sizes. In a past career I was a veterinary assistant and a grooming assistant. Experienced owner of critters big and small. Our current brood includes a 2 dogs, fish, a horse and 14 chickens. I have cared for newts, hermit crabs, fish, birds, cats, dogs, horses, goats, guinea pigs, gerbils, rats, mice, hedgehogs, chinchillas, lizards, rabbits, chickens, and snakes. I understand that your pets are family and care for them as such. While you are gone you can rest assured that your pets will receive the care and attention they deserve. I am willing to care for your other pets for an additional fee should you require this service. There are not many animals that I am uncomfortable with.
Reviews
Heather did a fantastic job for our 2 dogs. She went above and beyond to ensure all their needs were met. From the normal needs to the extras like; cuddle times, ball playing and her excellent communication to us while away. Highly recommend.

My special needs blind, senior dog stayed with Heather and he had a great stay. She sent me pictures and updates frequently. I would definitely recommend her and use her again. Thank you for caring for him. He came back to me very happy.

Thank you for watching our puppy and dog while we had a busy day planned. We appreciate your care and love for our pups.
Heather was wonderful with caring for our dog (Luna) during our week away. She made sure Luna had long walks, was fed on schedule, and had lots of play and cuddle time. During a storm she even stayed an extra long time to help keep Luna calm and make sure she got out after the storm passed. Heather kept us updated daily with pictures and details after each visit. Most importantly, it was clear Heather has a true love of animals. I would recommend Heather, and we will absolutely hire her again.
