Information Heather D. would like to know about your pet

Let me know about preferences for play and amount of food/feeding needs/where it's located. Inform me if any behaviours to know about or medications required, where to locate the leash. Keybox code or how to enter house/lock up if needed.

A typical day

I like to find out what my dog/cat favourites are and do my best to make them feel loved with their favourite toy(s)/games. Some dogs love fetch while others prefer scratches on the couch! I am flexible and happy to do what your cat/dog likes best.

Pet care experience

I have two senior cats and a 4 year old rescue dog. I'm a Junior High teacher during the school year but have a flexible schedule during the summer. During the school year I do drop-ins (early morning and evenings) throughout the week and have increased flexibility on weekends and during holidays. I'd love to care for your pet(s)! I've completed puppy socialization classes and dog obedience training. I've cared for friend's small-large breed dogs, and volunteered in animal rescue. I'm comfortable administering medications, if necessary. I love animals and will treat your dog(s)/cat(s) like they're family!

Heather was excellent! Provided detailed updates and lots of photos. It was lovely knowing that our boy was in such good hands while we were away!

Heather was an amazing cat sitter! She updated us with lots of pictures and messages while we were away which really put our mind at ease. Theo took to her right away and it was clear that she genuinely enjoyed spending time with him. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an attentive and reliable cat sitter! Thanks again Heather!

We were so happy to have Heather back for a second time to take care of our cat, Cosmo! Heather is reliable, communication is excellent, and we know that Cosmo is very well looked after. When weather made our return uncertain, she was able to add an extra visit on short notice, which I very much appreciated. I would absolutely recommend Heather!

Heather is an amazing pet sitter! She was wonderful with our cat, Cosmo, and I knew that he was well taken care of while we were away. I really appreciated receiving details of her visits each day and we loved seeing the daily photos. Cosmo definitely enjoyed his visits with Heather. I would absolutely recommend Heather as a pet sitter and I hope she will look after Cosmo again in the future!
