I have been around pets for as long as I can remember. I work mostly remote, so I can be home often and very flexible for drop off and pick up times. In addition to a very pet friendly home (I have two pomskies and three cats) and large fenced in yard, I live in a dog friendly neighborhood perfect for walking on leash. I currently walk my two pups an average of 2 miles a day, at least five days a week. I have fostered kittens for the SPCA several times (all three of my cats are foster fails). I have an extra room that can accommodate visiting cats during their stay if that is what THEY prefer (I know cats can be moody).

Heather was so wonderful with our dogs! She even came over for a meet and greet a few days before to make sure she knew the ins and outs of their care! My dogs are high energy and she wasn’t phased at all, handled them so well with so much care!

When it comes to her two (very friendly and welcoming) dogs, she makes sure they get their daily walks no matter the weather, which means your dog(s) will always get their daily exercise with friends! The nature trails she takes them on are BEAUTIFUL and many of them are shaded by trees, so your pup will stay cool! She also works from home so your dog(s) will get constant love and attention. If you're looking for a caregiver for your cat(s), Heather is the one. She has been fostering kittens through the SPCA for over 5 years, so she knows how to handle newborn kittens and pregnant momma cats. And, she's had cats of her own her whole life, so your cat(s) will be in perfect care with her!

Schedule
I currently work part time so I am very flexible. I can easily arrange my schedule around your pets needs. If I have to stay home with a guest most of the day, working remote isn't a problem.

I currently walk my two pups an average of 2 miles at least five days a week. I’d only feel comfortable walking three dogs at a time and would leave my two home to accommodate that, if needed.

A typical day
I love taking long walks with my pups. I have found that about an hour long walk each day makes them so happy (and burns some of that energy). Walking them has become theraputic for me as well.
