Your Neighborhood Pet Friend
Hello! I’m Heather and ever since childhood I have been exposed to and helped raise dogs and cats. I was and always have been an animal lover, taking care of all kinds of pets including reptiles, dogs, rabbits, fish, and birds. I’d also be happy to feed your small caged pets as well. I have cared for many breeds of dogs ranging from the loud and tiny to the gentle and big! Does your pup need brushing too? Count that taken care of too! In my friend group and in my family I was often the point person to take on pet care while vacations or work took precedent. I would watch pets for a couple of days to weeks at a time. I became a pet sitter to reconnect with pets while I was in my final year of college at UW-Milwaukee. Now with 2 years of professional pet sitting and dog walking experience, I have since moved to LA and am excited to connect with the pet community here! Pets of all shapes and kinds bring me the most joy so I am very grateful to spend time with furry friends while I settle into my new home. For walks we will always stick to your home's radius so your pet can be in an environment they are familiar with. With reoccurring visits and if your pet is comfortable we will then branch out further so they can get new scents! For drop-in visits, especially repeat visits I like to set an established routine that your pet can expect. I will help energize them through playing with their favorite toys or if your pet is on the chiller side, watch some of the wildlife outside together/on TV.

Heather was an absolute superstar dropping in on my cat while I was away - when my cat got sick while I was gone (every pet parents nightmare) Heather saved the day by being super accommodating and taking her to the vet!! Cannot say enough good things :)
Heather did a great job taking care of our two dogs while we were out of town for two weeks. She is extremely communicative and sent us lots of text/photo:video updates. Heather was also comfortable giving our dogs their flea/tick pills, and did so on schedule without being reminded. We were so relieved to know that our fur children were in good hands while we were away!!! We would definitely hire Heather again and recommend her to others!! Thanks Heather!!!
Heather's been sending me pictures and updates at each visit. She's been very good with my pet. It's been a very good experience.
Heather was fantastic!! On-time every time, great with my cat who seemed to have a lot of fun with her, and very communicative with potential issues. Won't hesitate to book her again in the future, and I recommend you do the same!

Programa
My main career is within the entertainment industry the days and hours I work tend to be irregular and flexible. Projects often come up on weekends but if projects come up, I make sure to keep my calendar updated up to two weeks in advance. My routine with pet case in mind depends on the pet and I make sure to adjust based on their needs. In our first meeting, we will discuss what their current daily routine is and I will mimic that to keep things consistent for our pet friends.
