Pet care experience
My entire life had animals around
Rovering since 2016, took a year+ off to RV the country with our 2 kids. A graduate in health care that *works from home*!! Being in healthcare I prioritize maintaining good health with any critter. I grew up rehabbing wildlife and was always surrounded with cats and dogs (we had 6 pets consistently). Dogs are goofballs we love to have around. Rehabbing raccoons, squirrels, kittens and puppies, song birds, deer, and hawks taught me a lot about on how to take care of any critter. I raised my cat from the time he was 5 days old and he is a Senior now and as lazy and happy as one could possibly be. I bottle fed him until he started eating solid food, which he has a particular diet due to genetic health issues, so I have experience with specific needs.

Amazing host, was able to take my dog last minute at a fair price and I could tell she had a good time

Heather was great! She was very reassuring and communicative throughout the duration of our 30+ day stay. She provided fun pictures and provided occasional updates which helped me to focus on taking care of everything else with a peace of mind knowing my dog was well taken care of. I would definitely recommend her for all services; she was great!!

Heather is great! Our dog really got attached to her family and enjoyed her kiddo's. Heather was very communicative and flexible with my constantly evolving dates and times. I appreciate her and her family for giving our boy a safe and happy vacation while we were away!

Schedule
Working from home allows me to be with the doggos all the time, so they can go in and out as much as they want. We have 2 kids; our son loves to give animals hugs or cover them with a blanket. My daughter throws treats like it's glitter. On weekends we try to spend our time outside as much as possible, as we have a large yard (not fenced).

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
If we leave the house, dog placement is upon preference of their human parents, but we try not to crate (unless they chew furniture, shoes, etc when alone).
Pets
A typical day
Our yard is not fenced. Since I work from home, it gives flexibility on providing care and play often. Once the kids are home the dogs are entertained until supper time. I take a 1 hour lunch some time between 12-2.
