I’ve known Heather for many years, and she is truly a wonderful person with a deep love for animals. She has rescued both cats and a dog, all of whom continue to live happily and comfortably with her. Heather is responsible, detail-oriented, and kind. She has a natural ability with animals and a strong understanding of their behaviors. She has cared for my little dog, Roo, on several weekends while I’ve been away — and Roo absolutely adores her!

Heather has always had a love for all animals since she was a little girl. She volunteered and shadowed a local Veterinarian for a number of years when she was younger then more recently, she took her passion for helping animals to Etobiocoke Humane Society where she volunteered and ended up rescuing her cats and her dog. She ensured that her rescue dog received the professional training he needed and continues to work with a trainer to learn positive techniques to best support him. Presently, Heather is connected with Hamilton Animal Services and Steeltown Canicross, a dog running group that meets once a week to run shelter dogs in hopes of helping them find their forever home. She is so dedicated that she drives over an hour once a week to make sure a shelter dog gets out with the group. As a person, Heather is a kind, loving, funny, responsible, dependable and strong woman. She is very trustworthy and would ensure any pet gets exceptional care every visit.
