Attentive & caring ready for new pet adventures!
Thanks for your interest! Pets have always been a part of my life. I've had many dogs from puppies that I’ve gone on to train and various other pets - cats, dogs, fish, birds or lizards. Right now I have an energetic ‘smarty pants’ Border Collie and a very elderly cat that thinks he is a dog! An animal lover in general I'm always interested in learning and understanding their behaviors. I’ve always enjoyed caring for any animals (except maybe spiders!) Possibly the most unusual and rewarding opportunity I had was raising days-old abandoned endangered baby ducks. From a child, I've always marveled at how each pet has their own personality and quirks! I’ve done lots of house sitting and pet care in the past for friends and neighbours whilst they have been away, tending to specific needs, routines or rules that owners have in place. I'm intuitive to animal behavior in general and will be happy to entertain, look after or comfort your member of the family to help them feel at ease. Whether that be fun walks and adventures or simply giving company and reassurance in their own home. I look forward to getting to know your pet!

I'm sensible and kindhearted. I understand leaving your home and loved one(s) in the hands of another can be worrisome but rest assured I treat your home with care and respect. Having done house sitting in the past, I'll be more than happy to keep you updated on how your pet is doing and also look after your property so that you can relax and enjoy your time away!

Heather did a fantastic job looking after both my cat and my rabbit while I was abroad. The cat has specific medical requirements when it comes to the feeding and Heather made sure that everything was done correctly as my cat has stage one kidney disease and needs a little extra care. She is very sweet and communication also went very well as she kept me updated with both photos and videos. First time I had a catsitter look after the pets and I felt so lucky with Heather. Would highly recommend her to all of you!

The first time Ziggy has met Heather….. he was very quick to curl up on the sofa with her. When we came home he did greet us but then returned to follow her everywhere. We certainly hope that Heather will be available to sit with him in the future

Heather was lovely , kind and patient with Coco . I felt comfortable leaving Heather and Coco for the first time at home together and will definitely recommend Heather and use her services again
My dog is quite anxious and can be a (noisy) handful but Heather was very patient and understanding. She spent the whole day with her and took her out walking twice despite the hideous weather. I received lots of lovely reassuring photos. I'm sure subsequent visits will be easier and quieter (please god!) for Heather once Rosy has got used to having someone new in her domain. Thank you for stepping in to help out when we really needed a capable and reliable sitter.

Programa
I have lots of flexibility at the moment to pop in and check in on your pet, go for walkies or just be around for company whilst you are away. If you need something more specific, then I'm open to that too. Feel free to get in touch!
