I work from home and would love to have some furry coworkers around. Whoever's with me gets to hang out all day while I'm at my desk, with plenty of breaks for outdoor time and cuddles in between. ⏰ I do ask that you treat drop-off and pick-up times as scheduled appointments. I'm happy to be flexible when I can, but I do plan my day around arrivals and departures, so I appreciate being on time or getting as much notice as possible if plans change.

Safety, trust & environment
My home is relaxed, dog-friendly, and ready for guests! I have a spacious fenced yard for outdoor time and plenty of indoor space to lounge around in. If your pup ever needs a quiet moment to decompress, I have a separate space for that too. I intentionally keep my guest list small so every dog gets plenty of individual attention. I also know how to read the room to make sure everyone feels comfortable and no one's overwhelmed. Your pup's safety and comfort are always my top priorities. 🌙 For stays longer than five nights, I do require a one-night trial stay beforehand. It gives your pup a chance to get comfortable in my home and helps ensure we're a great fit before a longer vacation.

Information Heather B. would like to know about your pet
Every pup is different, and the more I know going in, the better I can take care of yours. Before your pup arrives, I'd love to know about any medical conditions or medications, food allergies or dietary restrictions, anything that might stress them out (loud noises, other dogs, car rides, being left alone, etc.), their typical energy level and exercise routine, whether they're comfortable riding in the car and joining me on outings beyond neighborhood walks, and how they do when left alone for short periods, including whether they tend to bark or become anxious. Since I live in a multi-family home, this is especially helpful to know. The more I know ahead of time, the easier it is to make your pup feel safe, comfortable, and right at home.
A typical day
Weekdays usually look like morning walks around the neighborhood, plenty of yard time, and indoor games if the weather isn't cooperating. I like to keep things engaging. A tired pup is a happy pup! On weekends, we have a little more room to adventure. If your dog enjoys car rides and is comfortable visiting new places, I love taking my guests on hikes, longer walks into town, or even to the farmers market—one of my favorite weekend activities. 🧺👩🏻🌾🍓💐

Pet care experience
Dogs have been my whole heart for as long as I can remember. I loved my own dog for 15 and a half wonderful years, caring for him through every stage of life until we had to say goodbye last summer. That experience gave me a deep appreciation for just how much love and attention dogs deserve at every age. Since then, I've channeled that love into caring for the dogs of friends and family, and I'm now so excited to open my door to more pups who need a warm, attentive caretaker. I'm comfortable with caring for guests from puppies to seniors, and I'm used to managing multiple dogs at once while making sure each one feels seen and loved. I care for every guest like they're part of my own family. Whether that means adventure, enrichment, or simply curling up next to me while I work, I try to tailor each stay to what makes that individual dog happiest. Your pup will be in loving hands, and I'll keep you updated with plenty of photos along the way. 🐶

Heather is so sweet & fantastic. She took such good care of my pups. I appreciated her thoughtful communication and compassion for the doggos. I will certainly come back to her again and will recommend her to my friends & family. She's amazing & I'm so grateful to have connected with her!

Heather was exceptional with communication and updates about Bailey. She truly made it feel like another family member of ours was taking care of our dog. It gave us great ease while on vacation, knowing that our dog was truly being loved and cared for.

Just a pleasure Heather pet sitting my Harry. She is so kind and thoughtful!
