As a former nanny and current pet sitter, I understand how intimate, even vulnerable, it can be to inviting a caregiver into your home. While I will always inquire about spaces you would like your pet(s) to stay out of while you are away, I am always happy to discuss boundaries with me in your space. Your comfort brings both of us peace of mind. As standard practice during visits, I will look around to ensure your cat hasn't knocked over your holiday decor or your dog hasn't dug up your favorite houseplant. When departing, I consistently confirm that any pet food or medications are secure and inaccessible to your pet. If there are any safety measures or boundaries you would like me to incorporate into my visits, I am happy to discuss them with you via messages or in person.

I grew up in a very pet-centered household, with dogs, cats, reptiles, rodents, and fish. My comfort and experience with animals has been fostered since I was a small child. Dog walking: I have experience walking and working with dogs of all sizes and ages. I'm happy to take your energetic dog for a jog or for a long walk to play fetch at the park or, on the other hand, to do a slow lap around your neighborhood with your small or senior dog. I grew up with newfoundlands, labs, and golden retrievers, and I know the importance of meeting a dog wherever they are in terms of energy and ability Drop-in Pet Sitting: I am beyond happy to go the extra mile for drop-in pet sitting. While feeding your pet, providing any necessary medication, and cleaning up litter boxes or cages is a given, I enjoy engaging in playful and enriching activities with your pet as well. Please let me know if your pet has any favorite toys or activities, and I will gladly incorporate them into my visits!

Heather is great! I can tell she really cared for my dog, especially during hot or rainy days. She was never late or asked to reschedule. Going forward, she would be my first choice for dog walking if schedules align.
Heather (June) is an excellent dog walker. She is reliable and always sends detailed report cards. At the meet and greet she asked thoughtful questions and will always checks in to tailor the walk to my dog’s needs and attitude (he can be stubborn at its rainy or too hot).
She’s the best!
