We both work from home, so there’s always someone around during the day. Our routine already revolves around our own dog: we take him out first thing in the morning and again in the evening, with an extra lunchtime walk if the weather’s nice. We live not far from Oldbury Court so take our dog there regularly for off-lead runs. We’re quite flexible though, so we can easily adjust our routine depending on the needs and energy levels of the dogs we’re caring for.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a small fenced garden with a decked and patio area where dogs can safely go out for some fresh air and do their business whenever they need. Inside, it’s a relaxed, comfortable space where dogs can settle in and feel at home. Ours is permitted to roam freely through the house, with access to all areas except our beds and our favourite armchair. That said, we know it's important for dogs to have clear boundaries, so we respect and apply your rules. We stick closely to your dog’s usual routine and preferences, whether that’s feeding times, walks, or downtime. If your dog is crate trained, we’re happy to continue that, but they’re just as welcome to curl up on the sofa with our boy and relax with us. Our aim is to make their stay feel as normal and stress-free as possible.

Pet care experience
Hi 👋we're Heather and Andy. We’re genuine dog people who both grew up around dogs, so having them in the house just feels normal to us. We have a rescue dog of our own who's needed a bit of patience and training over the years, so we really understand that every dog is different and may need time, space, or a slightly tailored approach. He’s a very good boy now and has taught us a lot along the way! We’ve also used Rover ourselves, so we know how important it is to find someone you can trust and feel comfortable leaving your dog with. That’s exactly the kind of experience we aim to give: a relaxed, home-from-home environment where your dog is treated like one of our own. In our photographs you’ll spot our friendly, middle-aged Goldador along with an energetic young Spaniel who we often look after.
Reviews

lovely couple, Delilah had a lovely day, first time I have properly used rover & what a great experience, thank you so much, with only a few days notice they was able to fit Delilah in for the day so I could go out for my mums 60th birthday, thanks so much again, will 100% be booking again!🐶❤️

Hether was brilliant at keeping in contact with me, as I was a bit nervous about leaving my pup naturally. She has a lovely Labrador, Wally, I think he definitely taught my pup how to be more relaxed. Definitely would use again in the future 100% Thank you for taking care of my little doggie 🐶
We’ve had Andy and Heather house sit for us twice now, for a week each time, to look after our six labradors and terrier, plus our two cats and aviary full of birds! We honestly couldn’t have asked for better sitters. Managing that many dogs isn’t easy, especially as they all have different dietary needs, but Andy and Heather handled it calmly and confidently, and it was clear they really understand dogs and their different personalities. We wouldn’t hesitate to have them back; whether they want to come again or not is another thing!
