Hi, I’m Heather, and I’m a lifelong animal lover with many years of experience caring for dogs and cats. I have had many pets during my childhood and professionally looked after other peoples animals since 18. I have one dog, now aged 12, which I met through a dog sitting platform, this has given me experience with dogs of different ages, personalities and needs, including the patience and extra care that comes with looking after an older dog. I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pets, and I always treat every animal as if they were my own. I am DBS checked and currently work at a local school part time, where I support children in a caring and responsible role. This reflects my reliability, patience and commitment to looking after others. I’m happy to help with walking, feeding, companionship and general pet care in my home. I take the time to get to know each pet individually, understand their routines and make sure they feel comfortable, safe and loved. I’d love the opportunity to meet your pets and provide them with the same care, attention and kindness that I’ve given my own dog for so many years. Heather looked after my dog for me and I was really pleased with the care she provided. She was friendly, responsible and made sure my dog was comfortable and settled throughout the stay. She kept me updated and was happy to follow my dog’s usual routine, which gave me peace of mind knowing he was being well looked after. It was clear that she genuinely cared about his wellbeing and gave him lots of attention. I’d definitely recommend Heather to anyone looking for someone reliable and caring to look after their dog. I have known Heather personally for several years, so I had no hesitation in asking her to look after my pets while I was away. Schedule
I work term time between 9-3 part time. I am home 4 days a week, including weekends, my partner works from home and is home full time. I am also free during school holidays/half term and Christmas.

I like to think that I am a very reliable and trustworthy person. I have a love for animals and every pet that comes into my care is treated as if they were my own. I understand how hard it is to leave your pet with someone that you don’t know, but I hope to build a relationship with all my prospective clients and make them feel at ease and provide a happy stay for pets. My Home is safe, clean and the garden is secure. Rest assured that your pet will be very well taken care of.
A typical day
We have multiple parks in the area and lakes. I am also close to Cannock Chase which is has an abundance of beautiful natural scenery. If pets are provided with toys during their stay I am also happy to play with pets. I provide enrichment and plenty of attention.
