I am currently working about 4 days a week but outside of that I like to fill my time by spending it with animals. I enjoy pet sitting because it gives me the opportunity to meet many new pets!

Safety, trust & environment
When I am staying at a home I ensure that the pet is happy and pampered while you’re away! I give them lots of extra cuddles and I make sure to clean up any messes they may make. I typically take dogs on a minimum of three walks a day when house sitting. I make sure they have a full bowl of water and they are fed on time. Sometimes (almost always) I like to sneak them extra treats if they’re being extra good. And I’m sure to send lots and lots of photos!
Information Heather B. would like to know about your pet
It is important to me to know if your pet has any special requirements like medications, any previous health concerns (diabetes, seizures, etc.) so I can ensure the best care for your pet while you’re away! I would also like to know of any behavioral things that I should be aware of before interacting to ensure safety for me and the pet.
A typical day
I like to take dogs on lots of walks or to the park if there is one nearby. Or if they’re the type to lounge around we can do that!

Licensed Veterinary Technician :)
Pet care experience
I currently work as a vet tech at a General Practice. I enjoy caring for all the different types of pets and that is what drove me to start pet sitting on the side! I would prefer to bring my dog, Theo, when I house sit. He loves meeting new animals! I used to work as a relief vet tech at multiple ER locations around Houston. I have about two years of experience in veterinary emergency medicine. In total, I have worked in the veterinary field for about five years. I am comfortable working with animals of all ages and sizes! I became licensed in September of 2020 after graduating from Vet Tech Institute of Houston. I am experienced and comfortable administering medications. I am CPR certified for dogs and cats; I have performed CPR in the past working in an emergency setting. I love being around dogs of all sizes and personalities! I will be able to provide excellent care and give a ton of attention to your dog. I will treat every dog as if they were my own. I grew up on a farm and I have been around animals my entire life!

Reviews

Absolutely stellar every time we book! I really feel confident leaving our pets in her care.

Heather took a good care of our cat while we were away. She visited every day, following all instructions and sharing pictures of our furball. Our shy cat quickly started to enjoy her visits.

Heather took great care of our dog and our house. She was great at communicating and sending pictures. I would definitely recommend her.

Heather was absolutely spectacular as always! We'll be using her for all our pet care needs going forward.
