High-energy, patient pet-sitter
I have always been around and loved animals. As a child, I raised many beloved animals with my siblings, including: cats, dogs, rabbits, fish, turtles, ferrets, hermit crabs, and a horse. I started pet sitting when I was in middle school caring for our neighbor’s cat when they would go on vacation. Currently, I have three dogs back at home, including an Akita, German Shepherd, and English Setter. Each of whom I have trained since they were young. I also work as a volunteer with CSRA Humane Society, a local shelter in Augusta, in my freetime. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Neuroscience, and I am currently in graduate school to become a Dentist. I am seeking part-time work to help supplement my living expenses.
Qualifications
Safety, trust & environment
Safety and trust are a big priority for me! I think relationship building starts during the meet and greet. This is a great time to not only be introduced to your pet, but to start becoming accustomed to their environment and routine. I love to learn about what activities the pet likes to engage in as well as their favorite toys. I think it is also important to learn about how your pet interacts with other humans/pets in case there are any external interactions.

Heather has cared for pets independently since early high school. She has watched my dogs many times and is always timely, kind, and very good with my babies!

Schedule
During the week, I am a in full-time school. I am usually available all day Wednesdays, Weekends, and after 4pm any other days during the week.
