In the last 20 years, I have owned four dogs. I fostered a dog for several months and ended up adopting her. I trained all four - two of which came to me as puppies.

Heather and her family watched our dog for a week while we were on vacation. Heather was very friendly, responsive, and easy to communicate with. Heather was unbelievably accommodating for our dog's needs. It shows through and love that she loves dogs, and I have so much confidence that she was the best loving caregiver for our dog in my absence. She is kind and warm and everything I could want for my dog. And he ate all his meals for her! Which shows me he was so comfortable with Heather and her family. I am so grateful to all of them for watching our dog. She is my top choice for our next time we need a sitter.

Heather and family were great to watch our sweet boy while we were gone! She was easy to communicate with before and during the stay and sent wonderful photos while we were gone. We would definitely use her again and recommend her to others as well!
Heather was the best ! Boarding Zoe with Heather & her family at their wonderful home was a perfect match for me (& Zoe!) Heather is very organized & prepared to deal with hosting a dog's individual behavior and adapting to their routine for the best results. Heather - having her own dog and another daycare dog to keep company & play with Zoe - was a perfect situation. She was very flexible with my drop-off & pick-up schedule which made all my travel arrangements "a breeze" with no worries. I couldn't be more pleased & recommend Heather without any hesitation. I hope my future travel plans will allow a repeat overnight for Zoe with Heather again !
We received pictures and videos of our puppy during her stay. Our dog is still a puppy and this was her first experience being left for 4 days. Heather and family dealt with our pup's challenges and gave her lots of TLC.

Schedule
I have a flexible schedule as I work from home Monday through Friday. Whether you are opting for a dog sitter during the day or in need of a second home for your pet while you are away, I am willing to pick and drop off your pet.

Safety, trust & environment
If you are utilizing me for a day sitter, I am happy to have an office companion. We can keep each other company throughout the day! If you are using me for a day sitter or for boarding, I can take your dog for walks or play fetch. We have a large yard on water so if your pup likes to swim that can be accommodated. I have two boys, who are 6 and 7 years old, and a 2 year old cattle dog, who would love to snuggle and play with your dog.

A typical day
I am happy to walk your dog, throw a ball or frisbee, offer your dog social time with our dog, Millie, and if your dog likes the water, a pond to frolic in. In between activity, I have a super comfy dog bed in my office to relax in while I work.
