Please let me know if there are any medical or behavioral conditions that I should be aware of. I am not comfortable nor willing to provide pets with injected medications and/or medical monitoring that requires the use of needles.
A typical day
I like to spend a lot of time sitting and playing with dogs and cats (if that’s what they’re comfortable with at the moment). This can be by petting them, playing with toys. I also enjoy walking dogs in local parks, and am sure to keep them away from other people/pets/animals—especially if it’s not otherwise noted in care instructions.

Pet care experience
I had cats and dogs while growing up (4 cats and 2 dogs). I have pet-sit in the past for neighbors' cats and turtles. In January 2022, I became the proud owner of two kittens that were adopted from a local rescue group; their names are Panda and Kuma! I am currently available to take care of your pets on weekends and holidays. Please feel free to reach out to me if you think that I am a good match for you and your furry friend(s). Thanks so much! I allow pets to approach me as they’re comfortable, and consider myself to always be calm and gentle at all times. I also don’t hesitate to contact owners when I have questions about the pet’s routine and/or behavior.

Heather is terrific! She was so responsive and was willing to give my cat his medications, and when I returned, he was so content and didn't 'give me the business' for being away--he was CLEARLY well taken care of, and I am very grateful. I felt very safe having Heather in my home, taking care of my 16 year old cat, and was grateful for the reports and pictures Heather sent after each visit. Heather left everything so clean and tidy (litter & food areas, etc.) and I felt at ease the whole time I was away. I highly recommend Heather!
Heather was a wonderful house sitter for my blind old man Rocky. She took good care of him and was even willing to take him on an extra walk before I came home. Will be booking again!
