I’m currently in the military and occasionally work weird hours. But I can make sure your fur babies are taken care of before I go to work and after I get off of work. Because I’m military I have access to the base and can take care of pets when members go TDY, take leave, or other special circumstance that may come up with military life.

Safety, trust & environment

I can take care of your pets in your home, apartment, or wherever you live! I enjoy going for long walks or hikes and if there’s a dog park nearby I can most definitely help them burn off some energy there! If your fur baby is a cat, I’ll make sure they get the appropriate amount of love (you know how cats can be, not too many head pets, but also not too little head pets) and their bathroom will stay fresh and clean daily!

Information Heather B. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs, behavior characteristics, special routines you like them to follow, or dietary needs I need to be aware of.

A typical day

Typical activities for dogs that need to burn off some energy would include long walks or hikes in the local area or playing fetch or with other dogs at a nearby park or dog park. If your dog is older, not as strong as they used to be, or just prefers lounging, I’ll make sure they get the right amount of daily movement they need and lots of love to go along with.

Pet care experience

UPDATE: I will be out of country mid-June through December and unable to provide any pet sitting or drop in services. I’ll update my status and availability once I returned. I look forward to seeing all my furry friends again in 2027! I’ve had pets my whole life! Cats, dogs, guinea pigs, and if you want you can include the farm animals I helped raise and take care of growing up in Kentucky. I have basic experience with medication administration and basic knowledge of life saving skills I’ve picked up while serving in the military.

Heather was lovely with our anxious dog and did a great job getting her out for walks, play time, and some obedience practice. She sent lots of pictures and videos with updates!

Heather is absolutely the best! She goes above and beyond to care for our dog and he gets so excited when he sees her coming in the door! We have been using her for years and will continue to!

Heather was a great drop-in sitter for our cat! She made sure she had enough food and water at her meal times, and kept the litter box very clean. Our cat is very shy, but Heather was able to win her affection by the end of her visits, with the help of a little treat bribery. I also have to mention that Heather took very good pictures during each of her visits. That's a small thing but it goes a long way for our peace of mind while we're away!
