Every animal is different, so I can dutifully follow whatever routines you as the owner need me to follow as your pet’s caregiver to keep them happy and healthy. I also have experience calmly administering medicine orally to cats, dogs, and bearded dragons. In my home we currently have no pets, so if your house-trained pet needs to stay outside of your home for any reason, you can rest assured your pet is safe from any contact with other animals. We live in a 2-family home where the neighbors live in the back of the house and have a friendly, medium-sized dog (mutt). They have their own separate fenced in yard, so their dog will have no contact with your pet. I wanted to be transparent about the presence of a dog on the general property, incase you hear her barking when you drop off your pet, there’s no surprises! Feel free to reach out with any questions!

Whatever makes your pet light up, I’m game, be it playing fetch in the yard, letting your cat play with the empty boxes of their new scratch post, taking pups for long walks in the park, or cuddling on the couch.

Hi, I’m Heather, I’m a responsible, creative professional with a lifelong love for animals and a calm, caring energy that pets respond to. I grew up with cats in my home and I’ve cared for other’s cats, dogs, and even small reptiles (bearded dragons), and I love being a steady presence for animals while their people are away. I know how important it is for pets to stay in their own familiar space—it’s less stressful for them and allows you as the owner to be sure your pet is in a safe space while you’re away for work or play. I offer in-home sitting for clients within 10 miles of North Hollywood (drop-in and dog walking service within 5 miles of NoHo), and treat every home and pet with the same loving care and respect I would my own. I work remotely, so your pet gets plenty of companionship, and all I need is strong Wi-Fi and a peaceful place to stay. I’m tidy, communicative, and happy to follow your pet’s routine to keep things smooth while you’re gone. Heather understands the tricky way pets can be. My two cats are sweet but they have their routines and that makes it very stressful for them to be with other caregivers. Heather had no problem following my little ones routines and sent wonderful pictures so I could see how they were. It was very nice to see my cats actually enjoying my absence. I feel confident that I can leave for a work trip now and my babies will be taken care of the way they need to be. I can’t recommend Heather enough!
