I like to know that a dog will not show aggression to children, adults, or other pets. I also like to know whether your dog has any food or environmental allergies, and whether they are up to date on their immunizations.
A typical day
We will explore your neighborhood sticking to sidewalks and safe walkways, in order to minimize any possible contact with ticks and other wildlife. I tend to walk at the pace that your dog most prefers, provided that that pace isn't hyperspeed because I am not exactly a runner. Drop-in visits include checking food and water as needed, and giving treats as well as love and playtime!

Hello! My name is Heather and I am available in the Kingsport, TN, area throughout most of the week and during daylight hours. I can provide walks in addition to food, water, and treats. I am also comfortable with basic grooming, minor clean-up (I understand that accidents do happen!), and administering some forms of medication. I have no issues with helping your fur baby learn to walk on a leash, if they are not yet used to walking while tethered to a human. I have had many pets throughout my life including chickens, fish, cats, dogs, and a turtle, but I love all animals! I have prior experience working for a small pet sitting business and I currently share my home with a beagle mix and a two cats. I am insured through Pet Care Insurance. Heather continues to be amazing! She watched our girls over the 4th of July weekend (very anxious pup from fireworks) and she did everything she could to make them feel at ease!
Heather is amazing! She is so caring and mindful of our pets and their needs. Our oldest dog (10+ years) had digestive issues during her stay and Heather was communicative through the entire morning and made sure Missy was comfortable before she left. We cannot say enough amazing things about her!
