Outside of Rover I sell aquarium fish and my schedule is very flexible. I generally have more availability Friday-Sunday as Mon-Thurs are sometimes filled with repeat clients.

I am happy to follow any routine & instructions you wish, even if you need me to pretend to microwave your dogs food or make it fancy in whatever way you have found works! Pets can become stressed when their humans are away and I'm happy to mitigate that with any routine necessary. I carry liability insurance separate from Rover.

Please let me know if your pet has any triggers/ obsessive behaviors. For example, dogs who don't like bikes. I also recently met a dog who would destroy any yard sign in sight. Always nice to have heads up on those things before we're exposed to them so we can help keep your pet safe :) Please be sure your profile lists a trusted reliable emergency contact.
A typical day
With doggos I love to take slow walks and allow them to sniff all the roses they want. If the dog is more high energy we can pick up the pace and maybe play some fetch or sharpen their obedience skills! I love introducing cats to new toys with owner approval!

Pet care experience
Accepting new clients! I grew up on a farm in Nashville, IN and have cared for a little bit of everything over the years. I discovered my love of animals at a young age. I have 4 cats, and three 50-60ish lb dogs. I keep 30+ freshwater aquariums and have experience with some reptiles, birds, and other caged critters like ferrets, rabbits, hedgehogs. Also open to farm sitting and any other unique pet you keep, message me to discuss details!

Heather came to my campsite while I was away and checked in on my dog. She showed up when she was expected and communicated with me about my dog. She took her on a walk and visited with her for a little while to help her not feel as anxious. I would recommend and use Heather again. If you are traveling with your pet and are staying at a nearby campground, she is a great choice to check in on your pet while you are away from your campsite.

Heather has kitty-sat for my boy Finn multiple times now, and she's always great!
Heather was fantastic! I'm an out of state student who was visiting family over the holidays and couldn't bring my cat home with me since he doesn't get along well with other cats and my parents have two. Heather came over before I left to meet my Finn and get a lay of the land; super prepared! Throughout my time away, she gave consistent updates and photos and I came back to a clean place and a happy cat! Would absolutely recommend Heather to anyone!!
