I am always studying dogs and dog training. I am fascinated by working dogs and their bonds with humans, in particular. I have a lot of experience reducing reactivity through redirection and positive reinforcement.

I try to follow the same routine that you already have set for your pets. Some of my clients leave very detailed instructions which I love! I love walking dogs around new neighbourhoods, you can count on them being tired when you return!

Please just let me know any behaviors I should be aware of ahead of time. Important examples would be the extent of any fear/aggression towards dogs or humans/children.

Depending on the season there will be easy hikes, lake or river days, Sniff Spots, urban strolls, indoor dog parks (if indicated). I like to do doggy picnics, play fetch, dog friendly beer spots. Let me know what your bb likes to do! <3 Please let me know if treats are ok <3 give me a lil heads up what they are or aren’t allergic to and I will come prepared :D

I place the safety of your pet above all else. I carry my own leash and extra harnesses that can’t be wriggled out of, and I’ll keep our adventures off the city streets when I can. I am passionate about helping dogs have fun in the human world. Walks may include training in redirection, focus and a mix of environments as well as working on ‘leave it,’ and pulling upon request. I excel at training puppies and managing reactive dogs.

Thanks for taking care of our little pup, he looked like he had a great time and you took good care of him.
Hayli was amazing with our two dogs! They are both are pretty anxious and have reactivity to dogs. She handled it all amazingly. Will be booking with Hayli again!
Hayli went above and beyond . It was so comforting to know all my fur babies were so well taken care of.
She did great with our dogs. She had some changes to her schedule, but she communicated well and we were able to come up with a good plan. She treated our house very well and it was in good condition when we came back home. She definitely went above and beyond to make sure our dogs were content, I would easily hire her again.
