Dogs and Cats and Chickens...Oh My!
I've taken care of people's fur babies for over 6 years. Kinds of pets I've cared for range from dogs (puppy to senior), cats and kittens, birds, fish, and chickens; sometimes with multiple from each category! I've been trusted to give medication to pets, both orally and topically. In addition to animals, I have also cared for clients' plants, be it simply watering a potted plant, harvest garden goods, and dead-heading flowers.

Safety, trust & environment
With every new client and pet(s), I always want to become acquainted so that they are comfortable with my presence by the time I am to watch them. Additionally, I ask the owner for a tour of the home and go over any rules they have for their pet (i.e. not allowed on furniture, receive a treat every time they go potty, etc). I inquire about the pet's daily routine, frequency of bowel movements, what the whines/sounds/looks may mean and how to remedy them. I want the pet to receive the same treatment from me as they do their owner.

We cannot say enough good things about Hayley’s excellent care of our dog. She clearly has extensive experience with big dogs and our dog liked her instantly. She showed incredible sensitivity to his tendency to be a « Velcro » Doberman. He was obviously happy and comfortable in her care and we had peace of mind in our trip knowing he was in such capable hands. We will contact her first to keep him every time we travel.
Hayley was a 100/10 caregiver for my anxious dog! This was my first time using Rover for dog/housesitting care after my dog had a negative boarding experience. She was so loving and caring while I traveled across the country for work! She checked in multiple times a day with the cutest pictures! Hayley has fantastic communication, and made me and my sweet dog feel completely at ease! She went above and beyond by running the dishwasher, stripping the sheets/ having the laundry ready to go her last day. My dog absolutely loves her, and so do I! We will 100% book her for house/dog sitting again!
I always know Rocky is in great hands when Hayley is watching him. She’s great at communicating and keeping me looped in on things and is flexible adapting to my requests.
Hayley was wonderful caring for our senior pup, even in the crazy snow weather! our pup felt 100% at home with her there while we were away. 10/10 pet sitter!
I have a very anxious pittie who seemed happy as a clam while Hayley stayed in our home to watch her! I will 100% be rebooking next time I have to travel!
Great communication. Our anxious dog felt so safe with her.

Schedule
I work at a salon 8 hours a day, Thursday--Saturday, but I will love and care for your pet every moment I'm in your home. If your pup requires a daily walk, I'll be sure to do that either before or after my shift. It should be noted that the availability on my Rover calendar may differ slightly from my actual availability, as I don't book requests until after I've met with the owner and pet(s). If there is any sort of conflict or overlap, I will let you know.

- Please inform me if your fur baby requires medication so that I may be able to properly give it to them. Also, if they have a history of seizures or other health problems so we can talk about the best course of action should they have a flare-up. If your pup has a tendency to take off running if presented the opportunity of an open door or gate, please let me know so I can be sure to be extra careful with doors and the like.
