Pet care experience
Social worker turned dog-sitter
Throughout my life, I’ve always surrounded myself with animals. Ive owned horses, dogs, and cats and also have extensive experience with rescue dogs who have endured trauma. I have yet to meet an animal that I haven’t befriended and continue to work closely with rescues and assist people in rehoming their pets. I just left my job as a social worker and am currently pursuing my MSW. I am looking for a part time gig to help get me through school, so my schedule is pretty open. (Luckily I have a wonderful partner who can care for my dog while I care for your animals!)

Hayley was excellent in every way. She was reliable, communicative, organized, and quickly earned our trust. Our dogs took to her right away. She sent photo updates regularly, and we returned home to happy dogs and a clean house. We would definitely engage Hayley to care for our dogs again.
Haley took excellent care of our little girl and as very respectful and clean while staying at our house. She took our pup out on special walks, sent pictures of their adventures, and cooked her some hamburger and rice when her tummy wasn’t feeling well. I would definitely use her again.
Heavenly Hayley! My cats are demanding and complicated little goblins but Hayley made me feel like she was their biggest fan. I knew Hayley was indulging all their quirky needs so my time away was even more fun and relaxed. Her presence made everyone's life better. I hesitate to write the review she deserves because she will get too popular on Rover and I might never be able to leave home again.
Hayley grew up around animals and has a special connection with them! She rescued a dog from the south and had to undo everything he knew and turn him around from being untrainable to trainable. She also had to address his behavior and work on a better temperament! Her dog moogie did a complete turnaround and is a lovely dog. In conclusion she is very energetic and would treat your dog with the utmost kindness!
Calendar and availability
Schedule
I normally go for a morning walk with my own rescue pup and then hit the yoga mat and get some school work done. My schedule is very flexible.
Where your pet will stay
Safety, trust & environment
I have a rescue dog who does not get along with other doggos (disappointing but we respect his boundaries). Therefore, I wouldn’t be able to house your doggo at my home but open to house sitting and for advance notice clients, I can have my father watch my dog for a week or so.
Pets
A typical day
I enjoy hiking with my doggo and going for long walks on the waterfront. I have a reactive rescue dog so I’m normally hyper vigilant when walking dogs. I’ve also enjoyed taking my friends dogs to the dog park and just basking in the sunshine outdoors.
