Finding joy one paw at a time
I've felt connected to animals my entire life. One of my earliest memories as a child was finding abandoned nests by the river and trying to incubate the forgotten eggs. There were always plenty of baby birds that would fall from the nests of their trees at my childhood home. My brother and I would nurse them back to health. For the last nine years I have been blessed with the most amazing companion that I could ever ask for, Thorton. He is my German Shepherd that I've raised since he was a puppy. Thorton was as stubborn as they come and taught me so much about persistence, patience, and balancing love and alpha energy. Thorton also has EPI, so I am very used to administering medication on a regular basis. I also have been thoroughly studying pet nutrition on my own and have since been making Thorton homemade meals. He has also had TPLO on both knees. These unfortunate incidents have also prepped me to handle big surgeries. I am also a certified Reiki Master and soon to be taking a program for animal Reiki. I find that this provides calm energy for animals that I come into contact with. This skill is very helpful in building trust, especially for those who are shy and aloof.

I am happy to stay overnight at your home to provide socialization and companionship for your pet. This obviously can include giving medicine, walking, bathing, etc. I understand the stress and difficulty of finding someone to give compassionate and thoughtful care to your animal. That is exactly how I feel with my guy. Ideally I prefer to bring my dog with me to overnight gigs that are longer than 4 nights. He LOVES to play with other dogs and is a great addition if your animals are pet friendly. No big deal if not. I live with my partner and he is my dog sitter for longer visits.

Hayley is a reliable and wonderful dog sitter. Helps out on last minute requests and I can always tell my pup is well cared for because he is happy and calm when we return!
I’m pretty sure my pups like Hayley better than they do me now 😂. This was my first time using Rover and Hayley and I was very anxious about leaving them with someone new for the first time. The daily pics and texts helped alleviate any concerns and helped me to enjoy my time away. She took wonderful care of my dogs and my home. I highly recommend her.
Hayley did a great job watching our fur baby while we were gone. Sent updates and gave us peace of mind that he was well taken care of. Will definitely use her for his care again!
Haley was wonderful with our pets, home, and in her communication with us! We were comforted by her understanding of German Shepherd behavior characteristics. We wish she were staying in the area because we would definitely book Hayley again.
Hayley did an amazing job taking care of our pets. She sent us daily photos/updates and had to take care of our senior blind/diabetic dog. She nailed it!! I would absolutely hire Hayley again!!?

Zeitplan
I am a massage therapist and death doula. My schedule tends to change week to week but i nonetheless do work 4-5 days a week. If you are looking for a dog sitter that can be home 24/7 I am probably not the best fit, but my hours when I am working are generally not that long. 3-6 hours, just depending on what my day looks like.
