I always hate leaving my dog. She usually doesn’t eat well when we are gone but not while Hayley was with her! She took great care of her and our dog was happy.

Hayley provided excellent care of our two busy hounds during a week of housesitting. She was easy to communicate with and went above and beyond by her extra efforts to keep our particularly energetic younger hound entertained. I truly appreciate her!

Schedule

As a single mom who moved back home to support my retired parents—especially my dad, who is navigating memory loss—I’ve created a life with lots of flexibility. I have plenty of time during the day and in the early mornings or evenings to give your pets the attention they deserve. Caring is a part of my daily rhythm, and I bring that same presence and patience to the pets I look after.

Safety, trust & environment

I’m familiar with Tom Dokken’s Retriever training and have experience caring for both energetic puppies and senior dogs who need a gentler touch. My beloved childhood lab lived to be 17, and ever since, I’ve had a soft spot for the elderly. A few years ago, I rescued my sweet boy Max—he’s become my unofficial “working dog” and greeter, always excited to meet and play with new buddies. Your dog will be safe, loved, and treated like one of my own. I live in a two story house on an acre and a half lot so your pup will have plenty of room to stretch their legs and explore!

Pets

A typical day

Every dog is unique, and I love creating a daily rhythm that fits their energy level and personality. Puppies may enjoy short, playful bursts of activity with gentle structure, while adult dogs thrive on longer walks, games, and mental stimulation. Senior pups get all the love too—with a slower pace, comfy rest time, and close attention to their comfort. When the weather’s nice, I often take dogs on outings to the nearby Natchez Trace or through the beautiful trails at Edwin Warner Park, which also has a great dog park for social time (if your pup enjoys that). Whether it’s a sniffari adventure, a relaxed stroll, or just quality time at home, your dog will feel loved, safe, and engaged every step of the way.
