Information Hayley D. would like to know about your pet
As a dog sitter/walker, it's important to gather as much information as possible about the dog ahead of time to ensure their safety and well-being. Here are some key pieces of information that I find important to know: Medical history: It's important to know if the dog has any medical conditions or requires medication, as well as the contact information for their veterinarian. Temperament: Understanding the dog's temperament can help me anticipate their behavior and tailor my interactions with them accordingly. For example, does the dog have any triggers that make them anxious or aggressive? Are they friendly with other dogs or do they prefer to be alone? Exercise needs: Different breeds have different exercise needs, so it's important to know how much exercise the dog requires each day to ensure they are getting enough physical activity. Diet and feeding schedule: Knowing what type of food the dog eats and when they are normally fed can help me maintain their regular routine. Behavioral training: Understanding what commands the dog knows and any training techniques that have been successful can help me reinforce good behavior. Emergency contacts: Having contact information for the dog's owner or other emergency contacts in case of an emergency or if I have any questions or concerns. By gathering this information ahead of time, I can provide the best possible care for the dog and ensure a positive experience for both the dog and their owner.
A typical day
As a dog sitter/walker, I love to provide fun and engaging activities for the dogs I watch. Depending on the dog's personality, energy level, and interests, I will tailor the activities to their individual needs. Some of my favorite activities include: Playing fetch or tug-of-war with their favorite toys Going on long walks or hikes in nature Visiting a dog park for some socialization and playtime with other dogs Practicing basic obedience training or teaching them new tricks Going for a swim in a dog-friendly lake or pool Providing mental stimulation through puzzle toys or treat dispensers When it comes to walks, I like to switch up the routes and explore different areas to keep things interesting for the dogs. However, I do have a few special places that I love to go on walks with the dogs, such as local trails, parks, and nature preserves. These places offer a variety of terrain, sights, and smells that the dogs love to explore. I always make sure to choose safe and dog-friendly locations, and to keep the dogs on a leash unless it is a designated off-leash area.

Pet care experience
Almost 2 acres with a full 5 foot fenced in yard! Perfect for your dog to play and exercise!! With private room private entrance available if they need more specialized attention! I have been a dog lover ever since I can remember. Growing up, I was lucky enough to have dogs as part of my family. From a young age, I learned to take care of these furry companions, and as a result, developed a strong bond with them. Over the years, I have had the pleasure of taking care of dogs of all sizes and breeds. From tiny Chihuahuas to giant Great Danes, each one has left a lasting impression on me. Through my experiences, I have gained valuable insights into the unique personalities and needs of different dog breeds. I have learned how to read their body language, anticipate their behavior, and adapt to their individual quirks. I understand the importance of exercise, mental stimulation, and socialization for a dog's well-being, and I always make sure to incorporate these elements into my interactions with them. Overall, my lifelong experience with dogs has given me a deep appreciation for their companionship and a strong desire to provide the best possible care for them.
Reviews

Brady had the best overnight stay at Hayley’s, he doesn’t love being away from me or his home for long but when I picked him up I could tell he had a great time. Hayley and her husband were welcoming and sweet to him and their fenced in yard is a dogs dream.
