I care for pets as if they were my own. I stick closely to each pet’s normal routine, including feeding, walks, playtime, and any medications they may need. I make sure pets are comfortable, safe, and getting plenty of attention, enrichment, and exercise. I’m Fear Free® certified and comfortable working with pets who may be anxious or have behavioral challenges, including aggression or resource guarding. I always use calm, positive handling and take the time to let pets feel secure and relaxed. My goal is to make your pet feel happy and stress-free while you’re away, and to give you peace of mind knowing they’re in good hands.

Pet care experience

I am currently studying at SLC to become a Veterinary Technician. I have hands-on experience in pet care through my work at a dog kennel in my hometown when I am not in school. My responsibilities include kennel cleaning and sanitation, feeding, bathing, dog walking, and administering medications as directed. I am experienced and comfortable working with dogs displaying aggression, resource guarding, and other behavioral issues, and I am confident in using safe handling techniques to ensure the well-being of both animals and people. I have in-home animal care experience providing pet sitting services for a variety of species, including but not limited to dogs, cats, turtles, and fish. In addition, I have experience working with animal sanctuaries and rescues, having worked at a local sanctuary during the summer. I also hold my Fear Free® certification, as well as First Aid and CPR certification for both people and animals.
