I’m Hawar, a federal government employee living in the NCR and a huge animal lover. I currently have two cats of my own and would happily have a million more if I could! I’ve been caring for cats and dogs for many years through friends, family, and pet sitting. I’m often the go-to person for dog walks, drop-in visits, and pet care when owners are away. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and breeds and have also cared for birds, rabbits, and reptiles. My love for animals started when I volunteered at the SPCA as a teenager, which was an incredibly fulfilling experience. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and getting to know their personalities. As someone who works in security, I’m responsible, reliable, and detail-oriented. I understand how important it is to feel comfortable leaving your pets in someone else’s care, and I’ll always treat them like my own. 🐾

I review the care instructions immediately before entering the client’s home. Once I’ve entered, I make sure to lock the door and greet the little ones I’m looking after. Following that I carry out the tasks I need to get done, and use any free time to play!

Hawar was exactly what I needed to ensure my asthmatic cat was well taken care of while I was recently away. She's great at communicating and let me know right away when my cat was being difficult and hiding under the bed (he was spooked from some repairs we had done), but also put me at ease by making sure he received his asthma puffer. I wouldn't hesitate to book Hawar again!

Schedule
I work a hybrid schedule which leaves me a lot of room for flexibility. I’m usually available in the mornings and evenings, however I can usually cater to your schedule!
