I’m fully retired so I have plenty of time available to devote to the care and well-being of your pets. I’m happy to do scheduled drop-in visits during the day or overnights if needed throughout Augusta County.

As a former foster parent, I have worked with dogs of varying comfort levels and special needs. I would take care of your pets with the same level of care and support as my own. I’m just as happy to go on a nice walk as I am to be a couch potato - whatever your pet needs, I’m here for them.

A typical day
I like to go on walks, go to a dog park. If your dog enjoys playing with a ball or swimming, I can take them to do that. If you have cats who like to play with toys I will keep them engaged as well.

With over 50 years of pet ownership and caretaking experience as a foster through Lab Rescue of Greater Richmond, I would treat your furry friends as my own. I’ve had both dogs and cats and am comfortable administering medications and working with pets of all ages. As a retiree with no pets of my own at the moment, it’d be a great joy to take care of yours.

Tom is the ultimate pet lover and will take immaculate care of your dog or cat. He has watched my cat on numerous occasions and I think he loves Tom more than me at times. He can make friends with any animal and would happily spend the day with a dog by his side.
