Harry takes amazing care of our boy! I love the regular updates and pictures. Roscoe loves hanging with Harry and Gidget!

We recently booked a meet‑and‑play visit with Harry for our 1‑year‑old mini schnauzer, Brinkley. This was our first time trying Rover after some difficult boarding experiences, and we were hoping for a more home‑like, companion‑based environment. Harry is a very kind, gentle elderly gentleman who clearly loves dogs. His warmth was evident the moment we met him, and Brinkley responded positively to both Harry and the other pups in the home. Throughout the day, Harry sent photos and updates, and Brinkley came home happy and tired from play, which we appreciated. There were, however, some things we hadn’t expected based on the profile. The listing mentioned one resident dog, but when we arrived there were several dogs already in the home, and additional dogs arrived during Brinkley’s stay. While all were small and friendly, the number of dogs in the space was higher than we anticipated. Harry did notify us the day before about a couple extra dogs, which we appreciated, but there were more dogs present than we were prepared for, and we would have valued clearer communication ahead of time. Harry’s kindness is unmistakable, and it’s clear he enjoys the companionship of the dogs he cares for. At the same time, we realized that his setup may be better suited for pet parents who are comfortable with a more flexible, multi‑dog environment. For our needs — especially for longer stays — we’re looking for a sitter with a more structured, predictable arrangement, that can also provide daily walks for our young energetic pup. Which we mistakenly didn't factor into our selection requirements, at the time we chose Harry. We are grateful for the care and affection Harry showed Brinkley and wish him all the best.”
