We're a couple who shares a deep love for dogs and a commitment to providing top-notch care for pups of all kinds. Together, we rescued and rehabilitated our beloved Molly, a stray who suffered a severe injury in a hit-and-run, which gave us invaluable experience in offering the compassionate and attentive care that every dog deserves. I bring a Veterinary Support Assistant certification from Stonebridge College, while Maria, a lifelong animal lover, has a natural gift for making dogs feel safe, comfortable, and loved. Whether your dog needs playful energy, gentle handling, or a calm, cozy environment, we’re here as a team to make sure your furry friend feels right at home with us!

We couldn't have asked for better dog sitters than Harris and Maria and Molly :) They took exceptional care of Geko and treated him as if he were their own. Throughout his stay, they kept us updated with regular messages, photos, and videos, which gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. They were always very informative about how Geko was doing, what he had been up to, and any little changes they noticed. It was clear they genuinely cared about his wellbeing and made sure he was happy, comfortable, and well looked after at all times. Another 5 star stay for Poppy with Harris and Maria. These guys really are the best. Daily updates with lots of videos and photos. It was obvious that Poppy loved her time there and I'm not sure she wanted to come home! Thanks again Harris and Maria.

Harris and Maria provided took the best care of Penny across a weekend stay at thier house. They were extremely generous with thier time and gave us brilliant updates across the weekend. Penny loved staying with them and has a new best pal in Molly. Thank you both!!
Harris and Maria are superb. Wee willow loved her time with them. I dont think she wanted to come home. They have molly a beautiful doggy girl who willow really enjoyed spending time with. We received daily updates, pictures and videos of willows time. Willow also requires daily medication which wasn’t a problem for them. We will defo be booking her in again. We can’t thank you enough
Harris & María were very welcoming to our dog and cared for her just like their own. When I collected Kip, she had obviously enjoyed her stay with Molly, and the 2 dogs had got along well - thank you all!

Schedule
We are both working from home full-time in a pretty flexible arrangement, and we leverage that with taking regular screen breaks for short walks, garden play, or treats! We have the weekend off together and often take the opportunity to go for longer walks.

Safety, trust & environment
The house is pretty spacious and all rooms can be isolated from each other. The first time a new dog comes into the house, we keep Molly and them separated and introduce them slowly as the time progresses. We have a carpeted office where we work from and usually Molly, and most dogs, like to sit below the office (it is pretty spacious & cozy!) while we are there. The garden door is always open in case the dogs like to lay down on a sunny day or sit/play in the grass, and we have direct view of it from our office.
Pets
A typical day
Typically, on weekdays, we get up about 6:30am where we open the garden for Molly to get out if she needs to. We then go for our first walk at about 7:30am and we are back before 9am when we usually start to work. We take our lunch break about 12pm and depending on the weather we might sit in the garden or go for a short walk. Finally, at about 8pm we are going for our evening walk. On weekends, we walk a bit longer (~1-2 hours) around Calderwood and River Almond, and we might even take a plunge in it!
