I want to care for kittens and cats. I am attentive and watch their behavior to see if they are ok. Looking at the litter box is an indication if something is not right. Petting them is important so they don't feel alone and it also helps with separation anxiety.

A typical day
If your feline is a kitten, I will pet and play with them. Some adult cats want interaction too whereas others just want to be some left alone. Every cat has their own personality and needs.

I've had cats as pets throughout my life, including ones who needed shots for diabetes. I have lots of experience with cats having volunteered at a local animal shelter, worked at the Vet school and Cat Haven (not as tech). I will play and pet them so they feel loved while you are gone. I am comfortable with other pets - I've also had dogs, birds, turtles, hamsters, etc.
