I have just started using rover and I am waiting for someone to be my first booking!! At present I work remotely between Wetherby (West Yorkshire) and Boston (Lincolnshire) so I am able to accept bookings for either area! I grew up in a house of 6 dogs, and have had plenty more along the way. I have grown up with many different breeds of dogs including German Shorthaired Pointers, Cocker spaniels, Bracco Italianos, Glen of Imall Terriers and Shi Tzus. I have also dog sat a variety of dogs from highly active dogs such as Weimaraners and Bavarian Mountain Hounds, to smaller dogs such as British Bulldogs and Dashunds. Additionally, I have had cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters and chickens. I love all animals and would be willing to pet sit animals of all kinds, not just cats and dogs - just message me and we can work this out ❤️ I have looked after paralysed dogs (with back legs being paralysed) where one of them was my own, blind dogs and deaf dogs, additionally I have experience in giving dogs, rabbits, and cats oral medications. Additionally, my life has revolved around the veterinary world with my Dad being a vet, I was able to join him in clinic for three years as a veterinary assistant, where I gained experience in animal care. I understand how important it is to receive updates and photos of your pet whilst you’re away as I am the same with my pets. I will send photos and updates throughout the time I am caring for your pet if that is something you would like ☀️📸

Safety, trust & environment
I feel confident with animals and can easily follow instructions of owners. Having experience with the behaviours of gun dogs, to lesser trained dogs I feel comfortable in all environments. This is similar with other animals. Additionally, if families animals sleep in coups, kennels or cages I feel confident with handling animal movement into these.
Ratings and reviews
Harriet has watched over my Dalmatian Frankie many times and has recently looked after our new Spinone puppy! I always feel comfortable with Harriet being in my house and I know that I can trust her with my dogs - she seems to know just what to do! Whilst I’ve been away Harriet has always sent me lots of pictures of the dogs and has communicated well with how they are getting on. Although I didn’t meet Harriet through Rover, I am glad that I found her as a pet sitter and I will continue to use her as I think she is absolutely fabulous with both myself but most importantly my pooches!
Harriet has watched my dog and both my cats multiple times and is always AMAZING with them!! They are always so happy when I come home and she updates me lots throughout their stay and sends lots of pictures!!! I will definitely book with her again, I’m so happy I found such an amazing sitter to trust my pets with 😊😊

Schedule
I am currently a sixth year university student so I am very flexible with my availability, and will have plenty of time to spend with your animals.
