I've been around animals my whole life and currently share my home with my own Labrador and Cavapoo, so I understand first-hand what different breeds and sizes need day to day, from a Lab's energy to a Cavapoo's smaller size and routine. Friends and family have always trusted me with their pets, whether that's a quick check-in or a full house sit while they're away, and I know how much of a difference it makes for a pet to stay in their own home with their own routine rather than being uprooted. I have real experience with pets who need a bit more patience, including anxious or reactive dogs who need a calm, steady presence and clear boundaries rather than pressure. I'm comfortable reading body language and adjusting my approach so nervous pets feel safe rather than overwhelmed. I'm also confident with puppies and kittens, from basic house training and crate routines to gentle socialisation, and equally experienced with senior pets, including administering medication, managing mobility issues and keeping an eye out for changes that owners should know about. Whether it's a drop-in visit or a full house sit, you can expect close attention, honest updates and a pet who's genuinely cared for in the comfort of their own home.

I maintain a calm, respectful presence in your home so your pet can stay in a familiar, stress-free environment rather than being uprooted. I also send regular updates so you always know how things are going while you're away.

Harriet really was a a perfect dog sitter . Harriet dealt with Chester really well looked after him and our home. We would definitely book Harriet again as she put our mind at ease .

I can not recommend Harriet highly enough. She’s so lovely and took excellent care of our Cavalier King Charles. She sat him in our house, not only is she excellent with dogs but she’s also an imbecile house guest it was spotless! We wouldn’t hesitate to book Harriet again and cannot thank her enough for the care she took with our dog. It was the first time us leaving him not with relatives so we were a bit nervous but had no reason to be, she sent us regular updates and was amazing! Thank you Harriet! Would highly recommend.

Schedule
I'm flexible with timing and always aim to follow your pet's usual routine as closely as possible. I offer morning, afternoon and evening drop-in visits, as well as overnight house sitting. I confirm exact visit times in advance and keep them consistent throughout the booking, which helps cats and dogs alike feel settled and secure, especially those who rely on a predictable routine.
