Availability
Most of my time is dedicated to my dogs. I love taking them out to explore new places and enjoy watching them experience new surroundings and situations. I do not leave my dogs unattended/ crated for more than 3 hours and will provide the same care to your dog. I will make sure that in my care you dog is loved, happy, and safe.

Information Harriet D. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know any leash/harness preferences. Any allergies, any route preferences for walks. Let me know if I should take my shoes off when entering the house- which I will happily do :) Let me know if your dog is reactive on leash or has certain skills they are working on.
A typical day
We will go for plenty of walks, exploring the neighborhood, or even an off leash hike if that’s something your dog is used to. I can work on leash manners with your dog. Teach them new skills like “crate/go to bed”, down, sit, and wait. We can play tug, fetch, or just simply cuddly in bed

Dog Mom with Foster Experience
Pet care experience
I have had dogs my entire childhood and young adult life. I’ve fostered dogs for almost two years. Through fostering I have been able to help 8 dogs get out of the shelter and find their forever homes. I just recently foster failed (adopted) my most recent foster who was a nervous barker before we started training. I love meeting each dog and getting to know their unique personality. I have experience training and managing dog behaviors/ interactions. I understand the nuance of dog body language and make every effort to make sure that all dogs in my care feel safe and secure. I have three dogs of my own (28lbs, 40lbs, and 45lbs) All are well socialized and welcoming to guests.
Reviews

Harriet does a great job, whatever is asked or needed, making it much easier to be away and not worry about pet care. She consustently provides updates, pictures, and notes about how everyone is doing or if something is different and is very responsive to texts. Flexible and accomodating on scheduling too. Couldn't ask for better care while I'm away.

Harriet was great. She is very responsible and our pets took to her right away. She is friendly and keeps in touch with photos and texts. We hope she is available for our next trip and definitely recommend her.
Harriet was great taking our two cats while we were out of town for a few days. She provided nice updates (with really good photos!) and did everything we asked her to do. We would definitely have Harriet take care of our pets again!
Harriet was a wonderful catsitter for my 3 cats while I was away on vacation. Her preparation and communication were excellent, and I enjoyed seeing the updates and photos with each visit. Highly recommended!
