Ryder Beach Farm
Pet care experience
I Live on a small horse farm on 9 acres - short walk to beach. Resident critters are my three dogs, four cats, two horses, three Pygmy goats, three donkeys, eight Pilgrim Geese, and 25+- chickens. I have cared for dogs and cats my whole life, farm creatures the last twenty+ years. I work from a home office so other than my morning horse ride, errands and some meetings outside office, I am in residence. I have a rental apartment on the farm and allow guests to bring a dog, so it is a very dog friendly property and easy for me to accommodate another guest dog! Farm critter savvy dogs preferred (my dogs trained to stay out of paddocks and out of hoof reach ) but "newbies" okay too - per Rover policy (and mine) just have to be on a leash at all times when outside. Please note a secure collar or harness (preferred) is required, and providing a current VET CERTIFIED vaccination record is MANDATORY prior to boarding (need current Rabies, Flu and Kennel Cough). Also, no dogs older than 12 are accepted, with exceptions possible after telephone discussion with owner and one night of boarding a week or two in advance before any boarding longer than 2 nights..
Reviews

Harriet is excellent, before accepting Stella she asked relevant questions to ensure a good fit with her and her own pets. The drop off was flawless, she provided daily photos and updates during Stella's visit, and was ready at departure time as well. Her beautiful farm is the perfect setting for dogs to run and play with others, and experience outside time. Stella is already looking forward to her next visit!
Harriet is amazing with animals, my Golden loved every minute of being with Harriet and I would recommend her 100% to anyone! He did not want to leave!
Harriet was super kind with our 15 year old lab Jack. He showed a new level of anxiety and barked a lot and she did the best she could to calm him. Also he got to stay at her gorgeous farm.

Harriet was awesome with our dog. She sent me several pictures over the weekend and I felt like he was having a great time with her animals as well! I will def use her again if I’m in the area!
