Pet care experience
Experienced dog and cat lover
I am a massive animal lover, and particularly love dogs and cats! I grew up with them, have looked after them for family members and have volunteered with them over the years. This volunteer work includes being a member of trusted housesitters, where I'd stay at people's homes as a holiday and look after their pets whilst they went away in return for free accommodation. I was also a member of Borrow My Doggy, where I'd look after people's dogs in my home, their home and walk them. In addition, I was a dog walker for the RSPCA, and volunteered as a clinic assistant at a medical clinic for stray cats and dogs in Thailand. I now have my own little dog, who i’ve had for 2 and a half years.

Safety, trust & environment
When looking after a pet in your home or taking them on a walk I would leave my dog at home so I can concentrate on yours. During a drop in I would give your pet lots of fuss and attention, make sure they are ok and do anything specifically required such as take them to the toilet or feed them.
Ratings and reviews
Harriet did a fantastic job of looking after our Cockapoo (Chewie) for the day. Harriet was very quick to respond to any messages and kept us reassured throughout the day with photos. We are very happy with Harriet and would definitely utilise her services again! Thank you Harriet!

Harriet was friendly and responded to messages very quickly, and kept us updated with how Ziggy was doing. Ziggy seemed to have had a nice day playing with his new friend Bunny! Would recommend Harriet to others in the area.

Amazing, my dog came back happy as anything and Harriet is super flexible and sent photos throughout the day
Harriet did a great job taking care of my dog while me and my family explored Newquay she is very reliable and kind.

Harriet was very concerned that Waffle was looked after correctly and was very caring

Was down in Newquay for a SUP Surf camp and as weather pretty warm wanted a dog sitter for during the day. Luckily Harriet was free, Agatha loved her time there, (was whining with excitement on the 2nd day as we turned down to the house). Harriet was flexible on the timings, when I ran a bit later than planned the 2nd day. Agatha had a good walk along with a chill on the sofa, would highly recommend and use again if I’m down in Newquay.

Schedule
I have a flexible schedule which means I can fit in with your pets needs if they require a drop in service or a walk.
- Cats0 to 7 kg7 to 18 kg18 to 45 kgover 45 kgHarriet can host up to 3 drop-ins per day
- Let me know if your dog has any special needs or particular behaviours that I should take into account. And, if walking whether I need to keep them on the lead or not. A meet and greet before a booking would also be a good idea.
