I'm in school on weekdays, but I am free most weekends except for the first Saturday of every month when I'm usually volunteering with puppies. When the school year ends, I will be available on weekdays and not weekends.

Safety, trust & environment
I maintain attention and make sure the dog has a chance to sniff things along the way but not eat anything. I've dealt with energetic dogs in the past so I can divert a dog's attention if it wants to interact with another dog who doesn't want to. I can also work on training dogs to heel during our walks.

Pet care experience
I was born with an 8-year-old Great Dane, so I've been around dogs literally since I was born. I regularly volunteer at Resilient Hearts Animal Sanctuary, working with puppies during puppy yoga and wrangling puppies during the monthly Puppy Prov, when puppies participate in an improv comedy show. I also walk some of my neighbor's dogs. I don't have a dog right now, but I still love dogs and pet them every chance I get.
Reviews
I’ve volunteered with Harper at small events for our dog rescue, and it’s always amazing to watch how the puppies just pile into their lap and instantly relax. Harper has such a calm, gentle presence that the dogs naturally trust. They’re also great at chatting with people about the rescue and making sure everyone gets a chance to safely pet the puppies. On top of that, Harper handles the pups with confidence and care, even when things get a little chaotic. I’d trust them with any dog.
Hi. I am Harper's next door neighbor and have known her since she was about 18 months old. Although my husband and I don't have a pet, we have two "grand" dogs. Harper has walked Leo, the Bichon Frisee, when he has stayed with us. She has gone over and above, giving him a good 45 minute walk and cleaning up his "leavings." Leo loves Harper! She is a true animal lover, and working for Rover will be a perfect job for her. She is always on time and takes her responsibilities seriously. Also, seriously, give her a position in your reputable company!
Harper has been walking my dog, Wynter, for the past year. Wynter is a sweet yet stubborn Scottish Terrier, so walks can be a challenge if you actually want to get anywhere. But not with Harper! Harper has been teaching Wynter a "heel" command, and when they go out, it’s never just a quick stroll; it's always a robust walk. Upon their return, Harper provides all the stats, from miles covered to "potty status." Wynter is always excited to see Harper, knowing that a great adventure is ahead!
