I've loved animals my entire life. I grew up with both cats and dogs and have spent years caring for animals of all kinds, from family pets and red-eared slider turtles to rescued wildlife and community cats. I've worked with the ASPCA to help trap, neuter, and return local cat colonies, and I've cared for everything from puppies and senior dogs to reactive dogs and large breeds. Today, I work for a reputable pet care company in Brooklyn and am building my own pet care business. I walk dogs of all sizes, from tiny fur babies to German Shepherds and Pit Bulls, and I tailor every visit to your pet's individual needs—whether that's a quick potty break, a puppy visit, or a long park adventure. One thing that sets me apart is what I call "defensive walking." I'm not just focused on your dog—I'm also paying attention to our surroundings, anticipating potential issues, and helping keep your pet safe, comfortable, and confident throughout the walk. I truly love animals, and when your pet is with me, they'll be treated as my own.

Your pet's safety is always my top priority. I use an approach I call "defensive walking," which means I'm constantly aware of our surroundings and proactively looking for potential hazards, distractions, or situations that could affect your pet's comfort and safety. I'm experienced with dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities, including puppies, senior dogs, and reactive dogs. I carefully follow each pet parent's instructions and tailor my care to meet the individual needs of every pet. Whether I'm caring for your pet in your home or out on a walk, they'll be treated with patience, respect, and the same level of care I'd want for my own animals.

Harmony is the BEST! There is no one I trust to be more loving, caring and, adept with pet care. She is prompt and communicative, making it very easy to coordinate life around having dogs in the city.
Harmony has been an ideal dog caregiver---the kind that everyone hopes to encounter, but not everyone is fortunate enough to do so. She is a genuine dog person. She took time to learn our dog, and he is utterly excited about every visit. She is a true natural with dogs and a lovely person besides. We cannot recommend her strongly enough!
Harmony is just the best. The way my dog's tail wags when she sees her... that says it all. Harmony not only makes sure that Sunny is cared for and safe, she also makes her feel loved and known. Harmony knows what streets Sunny likes to walk down, she knows what other dogs she likes, what smells she wants to take in, which stores give out the best treats, etc. She fills her water bowl and really pays attention to those details that others might glaze over. Harmony really understands dogs in a way that I admire. Sunny used to pull on the leash and growled a bit and with Harmony she has really learned to mellow out and feel secure in the confidence and leadership of her best human friend, Harmony. It's cool to see someone who really has the gift of relating to animals from a deeply respectful and intuitive place. Harmony is truly one of those people. My whole family loves her!
Harmony is our first call whenever we’re heading out of town. She’s stayed at our apartment several times to watch our two dogs while we’ve been out of town, and we couldn’t recommend her more highly. She’s incredibly communicative and sends thoughtful updates throughout our trips, giving us complete peace of mind. It’s obvious how much she cares about our dogs and gives us peace of mind knowing they are always happy and well cared for when we’re away. Harmony also takes wonderful care of our home. Every time we return, the apartment is spotless… we can barely tell anyone has been there! She’s reliable, kind, trustworthy, and a truly exceptional sitter!

Schedule
Pet care is already a part of my daily routine. I currently work as a professional dog walker and pet sitter in Brooklyn and care for dogs and cats throughout the week. My schedule allows me to accommodate regular walks, drop-in visits, puppy visits, cat care, and pet sitting. I understand the importance of consistency, and I work hard to ensure every pet receives dependable care, exercise, attention, and plenty of love while their family is away.
