A reliable and considerate sitter for your pets
I am a reliable and considerate house and pet sitter who understands how important it is for you to feel reassured that your home and loved ones are being cared for by someone you can trust. I appreciate it can be nerve wracking to put your faith in a stranger, so will always provide as many updates as you need. I am a scientist (PhD in cell biology) but currently working remotely as a freelance medical writer since returning from travelling in my converted campervan, meaning I have plenty of flexible time and attention to give to your pets. I grew up in the countryside surrounded by nature and multiple family pets but also lived in London for years so am comfortable in whatever environment you need me. I enjoy walking and being outside (ideal for dogs) and napping in the sun (ideal for cats). I am confident with any size dog, and have a calm, gentle manner which puts nervous pets at ease.

By staying in your home to care for your dogs, it greatly reduces the stress and anxiety they can feel in an unfamiliar environment. You can feel reasured that they are safe, comfortable, and walked along familiar routes. I will provide as many updates as your need and all your instructions will be followed to the letter.

Harley was great with our dogs especially Victor who is very nervous. He spent time to understand their needs and kept us updated daily. They clearly both enjoyed spending time with him and the house was spotless when we returned and he even washed the bedding and towels 😍. Would definitely recommend and use his services again.
Could not recommend Harley more (although concerned that the more I rave about him, the more he'll get booked up and wont be available when we need him :-) ) From the basics of ensuring he had met my two Weimaraners beforehand, to being completely flexible on times of arrival/departure, to watering the plants, to washing his bedding before he left, to even hoovering so the house was nice when we got back.....Harley went over and above any house sitter we have used before or that we would have asked for. We had daily videos and pictures which was so reassuring to see them having such a great time and clearly more than happy and relaxed. Harley is an absolute diamond of a find and he will be at the top of the list to contact whenever we need someone in the future
My Great Dane Suki was in Harley’s capable hands for two nights while I joined family in Cornwall. Harley has s calm and sensible manner and I felt reassured as soon as we met. Suki took to him immediately. I returned to my house and dog exactly as I had left them. I highly recommend Harley as a house/dog sitter.
Harley was punctual and got our daxies to settle down quickly. He took good care of them and kept us informed of how it was going. We were pleased with the attention Harley paid to our dogs and they all happily cuddled up to him. We would highly recommend Harley.
Harley is an amazing dog sitter. He looked after our two daxies who are quite nervous and kept us updated all along the way. We returned to a super clean home and happy dogs after a 10 day trip. Highly recommended.
Harley looked after our cocker spaniel Oscar for 3 weeks whilst we were away in Australia. We had regular updates from Harley with photos and info on what they had been doing and how Oscar was coping. We were very happy with the love, care and attention that Oscar received whilst we were away. Harley kept us updated on any slight issues that arose and he handled everything professionally. We chose Harley because of his great reviews and we would not hesitate in recommending his services to anyone in the future. Oscar loved having Harley over to stay in our house. Tim and Gill.

Schedule
Dog walking and drop in services are local only please, but I'm happy to travel anywhere for pet sitting. I am very flexible with my work from home at the moment so have plenty of time for walks as necessary.
