I have taken care of many types of animals growing up and have a decade of housesitting experience. I have been through many dog training programs growing up, active member of the 4H club with 3 years in the cat project and 8 years in the horse project. I have enjoyed taking care of young animals to older pets.

In a client's home, I make sure that animals are fed at the schedule desired by the client and make sure I understand the expectations. I know best practices for dog-walking and feel confident handling any animal with love and authority.

If there were more stars available I would select those as well. Harlan took great care of our senior guy with an attitude, the dogs not Harlan. The house was in great shape when we got back, he even did some of our laundry. Just can't say enough how great it was to work with him. The communication was excellent when we were on our long 3-week trip. Our comfort level with Harlan taking care of our guy was very high, actually right after we met with him on a meet and greet. If you are looking for a totally responsible and caring caretaker Harlan is a hands down choice. When the need arises in the future, he will be the first person I will look for.

My husband and I can’t say enough good things about Harlan. He is incredibly responsible, caring, and attentive to our two dachshunds specific routines and feeding schedules. It has always been such a relief to know that when we travel out of town our dogs are not only being well taken care of, but are also having a great time with him. The regular photo updates and daily check-ins about how they are doing is always appreciated and gives us total peace of mind. Our dogs love Harlan, and so do we!
Harlan is a very caring person. He connects well with critters! He has always been punctual, spends time with the dogs and cats, and is also observant. He was the one who clued-me in that something wasn’t right with my biggest dog. He would report eating patterns, coughing/choke sounds, and if he seemed weak. Once we were back from vacation, we were able to schedule a vet appointment and quickly discovered Micco had a large tumor interrupting his swallowing. I’m thankful for Harlan’s care and compassion. I recommend Harlan for any sized pet care!

Schedule
I currently in college doing online classes and have time for pet care and house sitting. I can do drop-ins where I will visit, take a dog for walks and keep them company. I'm able to do two visits a day as well as daily housesitting duties, when you are away for longer periods of time.
