Pet care fits into my routine during school breaks like Thanksgiving and Winter break, when I have more free time to dedicate to caring for your furry friends. During the school year, my schedule is pretty full with part-time work in the Cardiac ICU and the demands of my nursing program. However, I keep my availability updated regularly to reflect school breaks and any changes.

When caring for pets in my home or your home, I always focus on keeping them comfortable and happy! In my home, I make sure they have a safe space to relax, plenty of playtime, and stick to their regular routines for feeding, walks, and any special care they need. If I'm at your home, I do my best to make sure your pets feel secure by following their usual schedule and keeping their environment as consistent as possible. Whether it’s giving cuddles, going for walks, cleaning up after them, or making sure they get their medication (if needed), I treat every pet like they’re part of the family!

Things like their daily routine, favorite activities, any special needs, or even quirks they have help me make sure they’re happy and comfortable. The more I know, the better I can keep everything feeling familiar and stress-free for them while you’re away!
A typical day
A typical day with the pets I watch is all about keeping them happy and engaged! We’ll start with a nice walk or some playtime to get their energy out, followed by breakfast or their regular feeding routine. Depending on their preferences, we can enjoy games like fetch, tug-of-war, or just some cuddle time. For cats, I’ll break out the toys or let them lead the way, sometimes they just want to lounge, and that’s fine too! I make sure to stick to their usual schedule for meals, bathroom breaks, and any special care they need. It’s all about making sure they’re comfortable, entertained, and loved while you’re away.

Hi, my name is Hannya! I'm a college student in the nursing program at Boise State with a lifelong love for animals. I grew up in Boise surrounded by dogs, especially small breeds like Chihuahuas and dachshunds, and I currently have a sweet dachshund of my own. My family has always been dog lovers, so I’ve been lucky to spend time with dogs of all kinds. I also have experience with cat and dog sitting and enjoy making sure pets feel loved and cared for while their humans are away. I’d love the chance to help with your furry friends! 🐾
