My motto is that it’s my responsibility to make sure that each dog under my care is HAPPY and SAFE. Every day that I’m with your pup, I keep that motto at the forefront of my mind. I know how important dogs are to our lives, so it’s my duty to make sure that your pup gets to experience the same kind of love and care that they’re used to at home. I’m a huge dog lover, so making pups as happy as can just come second nature for me! Although I’ve been a lifelong dog lover, my experience with pups is much more far-reaching than that. I have over 10 years of dog boarding and daycare experience, including at a no-kill animal shelter. I’ve worked with hundreds and hundreds of dogs and wouldn’t trade a second of it! I’ve worked with dogs big and small and loved taken care of all of them equally. I’ve also been trained in Pet First Aid and CPR and am NYC Animal Handling certified. When taking on a new client, I typically like to schedule a meet-and-greet. It’s a great way to make sure that we’re all a good fit for one another, which is so important to me. Likewise, it gives us the opportunity to chat face-to-face about your pup and your care expectations. No one knows your dog better than you do, so it’s always great to chat with owners in person about what makes their pup tick! Finally, I just love meeting new dogs! I like to get down on their level to show them that I’m a welcome presence here to make friends, and I’m sure we’ll be best buddies in no time at all. I know how difficult it is to be away from your best friend, so communication is the name of my game. I’ll make sure to send plenty of regular updates with accompanying pictures so you can see just how much fun your pup and I are having together. I’m happy to send along detailed updates with info on anything from meal times to behavioral signs so you can feel completely happy and at home. I’m completely open for any questions as well, so feel free to ask away if any concerns or questions arise at all! Going the extra mile is all part of the job!
