Hola, I'm Hanneke 🇳🇱 and together with my boyfriend Duncan 🇮🇪 we've made Barcelona our home. (No dudes en escribirnos en español, estamos aprendiendo 🇪🇸) We have both grown up having both cats and dogs around the house and love the company of furry friends. The both of us have a flexible lifestyle and can easily dedicate time to take care of your pet as one of us is fully remote and the other a freelancer and there is always at least one of us working from home. We live in a relatively quiet neighbourhood in a spacious apartment in Barcelona. We have lots of nice places to walk your dog and plenty of space in the home. We won't accept dog breeds which are blacklisted in other countries, such as pit bulls and rottweilers, among others.

No es la primera vez que cuidan a Milu y siempre hemos tenido una excelente experiencia. Son personas honestas, responsables y siempre nos consultan antes de cualquier decisión, por ejemplo, preguntando si podían juntarla con otro perrito durante el cuidado, algo que valoramos mucho porque demuestra respeto y consideración. Además, envían fotos y videos, lo que nos da mucha tranquilidad. Sin duda, personas de confianza que cuidan con cariño y responsabilidad.
Hanneke took really good care of my dog Luita. She is already 15 years old and requires different attention when she goes out or is at home, has a different food that needs to be prepared and requires a Dogsitter who is also available to give her her medication. I could see Hanneke and Duncan provided that care to my dog and kept me updated the whole time. I would definitely leave Lua at their care again. Thank you so much!
AMAZING! It was the first time we leave our cat with someone else and it was more than expected. Out initial sitter cancelled last minute and we had to travel, we were so lucky to find Hanneke and for availability to take her in. The communication was constant and fluid, we received daily pictures and videos. Our cat couldn't be in better hands and of course she was super relaxed with them which made us feel even more relaxed. Truly I recommend booking with Hanneke when available and we will for sure repeat in case of need. Thank you so much guys!

Schedule
I am a freelancer and can plan my own week and have plenty of time to spend with your pet. Duncan can work fully remotely and is also around regularly. We are active and happy to go on plenty of walks. We have flexible routines outside of work and can balance time to be available for your pet.

Safety, trust & environment
Normally, pets like to stay close to us, that's why we keep a dog bed in our workspace while we work during the day. There will be other places for your pet to relax throughout the apartment, where we have some benches and blankets for them to stay. We allow pets on the sofa and they often watch TV with us in the evenings. We have a long hall in which we sometimes play fetch with dogs as well, when they need to release some energy!
A typical day
Please let us know what your pet's daily routine is and we will try to match it as much as we can. We have enough time to spend with your pet, to give them lots of care, attention and play time. We also enjoy the outdoors and are delighted to take your dog for walks in our dog friendly area with nice parks.
