All my life, I’ve been surrounded by animals. I’ve never been without the company of cats in my own home, and over the years I’ve cared for the dogs and cats of family, friends, and wonderful Rover clients. From energetic walks and playtime to quiet cuddles on the sofa, I love getting to know each pet’s unique personality and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. Originally from England, I’ve made Canada my home. Before moving into hospitality, I worked in a school, which helped strengthen my sense of responsibility, patience, and reliability. Now, one of the things I miss most about home is being surrounded by pets, so caring for animals through Rover has become something I genuinely look forward to. It’s the highlight of my week, and I’ll always treat your pet with the same love, attention, and care I’d give my own. I know every pet is different, so I take the time to build trust and adapt to their routine, whether they’re full of energy or prefer a slower pace. My goal is always to make them feel happy, relaxed, and loved while giving you complete peace of mind that they're in safe hands. I can't wait to meet them!

Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my priority. I’m confident caring for pets with different personalities and needs, whether that means sticking to their feeding routine, going on walks, keeping them entertained, or simply giving them some company and attention. I always follow your instructions closely, as every pet and home has their own routine. I know how important it is to feel reassured when leaving your pet with someone else, so I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages throughout the visit. Whether it’s a quick drop-in, a walk, or longer stays, I’ll make sure your pet feels comfortable, happy, and cared for while you’re away. Living in Gatineau and spending most of my time in Ottawa also means I have access to plenty of beautiful outdoor spaces, making walks enjoyable and stimulating for pets who love to explore.

Hannah is absolutely brilliant!!! We recently brought our lovely rescue cat home, and we were very hesitant to have to leave her for a few days to attend a family wedding. We are SO incredibly grateful to have found Hannah to look after her! She kept us really well updated throughout each and every visit, sent lots of lovely photos and made so much effort to make sure Gummy was as happy and safe as possible while we were away. Whenever we need someone to look after Gummy in future, Hannah is who we'll be asking and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend her!
Hannah has been great with T today, she was happy to follow a few tips re what he’s comfortable with and they clearly got on like a house on fire. Very grateful and happy dog and owner! Strong recommend

Schedule
Pet care fits easily into my weekly routine. I currently have a flexible schedule alongside my work, which allows me to make time for walks, drop-ins, and pet sitting. I enjoy getting outside and staying active, so combining that with spending time with animals is something I genuinely love. Since my own pets are back home with my family in England, I really enjoy having the chance to care for pets here in Canada and give them plenty of attention, whether that’s a walk, some playtime, or simply keeping them company while you’re away.
