I have a friendly, spayed Cavapoo named Pepa who loves meeting new dogs and is very gentle and social. At my home, I create a calm, secure, and dog-friendly environment where your pet can feel relaxed and cared for. We have a fully secure garden with a fenced yard, providing a safe outdoor space for dogs to play and explore. Plus, we live opposite a secure field, perfect for long, safe walks and exercise. Pepa helps provide friendly company and a positive atmosphere for all dogs in my care. When caring for pets in their owner’s home, I prioritise safety by carefully following your instructions and maintaining familiar routines to reduce stress. I ensure the environment is secure, checking doors, gates, and any hazards, so your dog stays safe while comfortable. I’m attentive to your pet’s needs, whether that means creating quiet spaces for rest or engaging areas for play. Trust is key, and I always communicate openly with owners to keep you updated and confident that your pet is in loving, responsible hands.

Hannah is nothing short of caring and loving when it comes to looking after your canine best friend or, in my case, canine siblings haha! Hannah was able to look after my family’s three French Bulldogs - Archie, Betty and Lily - whilst I was on a work experience day for university. Hannah went above and beyond to make sure they were walked, played with and cared for both in and out of the house. I would recommend her to anyone because she is so kind, caring, respectful and approachable, you’ll want to ask her again and again.
Hannah is a kind, caring and patient person, who will thrive in working with animals- particularly dogs. I have witnessed her showing these qualities first hand with my own dogs, within a social capacity. Being a dog owner I am aware of how complex these creatures can be. Whenever we have been on a dog walk together, and I’ve had a recall incident with my dogs Hannah has been on hand to help and conducts herself in a calm and measured manner when managing these sometimes stressful situations.

I always balanced my time with a strong commitment to pet care, making time daily for walks, play, and attention. I am about to start a new position at York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Working from 8-4 Monday to Friday. I will be able to attend to your pooch before and after my working hours. Living at home means I’ll have a calm, pet-friendly environment and plenty of time to dedicate to dogs’ needs, whether that’s long walks, feeding, grooming, or just lots of cuddles. Being health and fitness-focused, I love staying active with dogs on daily walks, ensuring they get the exercise and mental stimulation they need. With over 8 years of experience caring for dogs of all ages and sizes, including puppies and senior dogs. I’m confident I can provide reliable, patient, and loving care tailored to your pet’s unique needs.

- Before caring for your pet, I like to know as much as possible to ensure they feel comfortable, safe, and happy in my care. Every dog is unique, so understanding their routine, temperament, likes and dislikes really helps me provide personalised care. It’s especially helpful to know: • How they get along with other dogs (especially small breeds like my Cavapoo, Pepa) • Any medical needs, allergies, or dietary requirements • Their exercise level and walking preferences • If they’re crate-trained or prefer to sleep freely • Any anxieties, triggers, or behavioural quirks • Their recall ability and whether they’re allowed off-lead • How they typically respond to new environments or people Clear communication helps me match their routine as closely as possible and ensures they feel at ease, whether I’m caring for them in my home or yours.
